About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread blog articles, website content, landing pages, emails, ebooks, and other marketing collateral.
- Ensure all content is grammatically correct, factually accurate, and aligned with the company's brand voice.
- Optimize content for SEO, including keywords, headings, metadata, internal linking, and readability.
- Review AI-generated content and refine it to ensure originality, clarity, and a human-first writing style.
- Collaborate with content writers, SEO specialists, designers, and product marketers to deliver high-quality content.
- Maintain editorial guidelines, style guides, and publishing standards.
- Publish and format content in WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Update and refresh existing content to improve rankings and relevance.
- Verify statistics, claims, and references before publication.
- Ensure content is delivered on schedule while maintaining high quality standards.
- Monitor content performance and recommend improvements based on analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in content editing, copy editing, or editorial roles.
- Exceptional written and spoken English.
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and content optimization.
- Experience editing long-form and short-form digital content.
- Familiarity with WordPress or other Content Management Systems.
- Experience with tools such as Google Docs, Grammarly, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar SEO platforms.
- Comfortable working with AI writing tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
