The Software Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling software products to prospective clients. This includes understanding customer needs, presenting software solutions, managing the sales process, and closing deals. The role requires a mix of technical knowledge, sales skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Prospecting:

• Identify and target potential clients or companies that could benefit from the software solutions.
• Conduct outreach through calls, emails, networking, and events to generate new business opportunities.

1. Customer Needs Analysis:

• Understand client needs and requirements through consultations and meetings.
• Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase how the software meets the client's needs.

1. Sales Presentations & Demonstrations:

• Prepare and deliver presentations and software demonstrations to prospects.
• Customize presentations based on the client’s business goals and technical environment.

1. Negotiation & Closing Deals:

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers.
• Close deals by overcoming objections and addressing customer concerns.

1. Relationship Management:

• Maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and upsell or renew business.
• Provide post-sales support and troubleshooting as needed to ensure client success.

1. Market Research:

• Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and the evolving software market.
• Use this knowledge to advise customers on the best solutions and strategies.

1. Reporting & Documentation:

• Track and report sales progress, client interactions, and pipeline status.
• Update CRM systems with accurate sales data, meetings, and communications.

1. Collaboration:

• Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align sales strategies with business goals.
• Provide feedback to the product team about client needs and market trends.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: Proven experience in software sales or technology sales (3-8 years preferred).
• Skills:
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand and explain technical software concepts.
• Negotiation and closing skills.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and sales tracking software.
• Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software products or services relevant to the company’s offerings.

Developing Marketing Strategies: Creating comprehensive plans to market properties effectively. This includes identifying target audiences, setting marketing goals, and determining the best channels to use (e.g., social media, email campaigns, print advertising).

Creating Marketing Materials: Designing and producing various materials such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, and online content. This often involves working with graphic designers and copywriters to ensure high-quality, persuasive content.

• The entire development lifecycle of all our consumer applications
• Working closely with the Product, QA, UX & Engineering teams on strategy, solutioning and execution.
• Managing everyday activities of the consumer engineering team
• Working closely with the core platform engineering teams to design seamless integration
• Owning management and execution of features and ensure delivery timelines
• Building & mentoring the consumer engineering team
• Working with the overall leadership team in creating and driving the company vision and it’s goals

• 8+ years of experience designing and developing complex, interactive consumer applications
• Working with / managing both mobile and web applications
• Ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences

• Experience in Digital Marketing with a specific focus on Google Ads
• Manage and scale e-commerce campaigns of big brands globally Google Ads certified (preferred)
• Working Proficiency with Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, Google Merchant center
• Working knowledge of various campaign types like Google Search, Google Display, Shopping, and YouTube Ads
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel
• Strategise SEM campaigns and align it against the whole digital marketing strategy Understanding and implementation of funnel approach - measurement of events like add to cart, checkout, etc on websites and also building audiences related to these events
• Tracking and setup of all events through Google Tag Manager
• Analyze data from various other sources (like Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc) and find insights and on how to grow faster
• Creative inputs and AB Testing - strategise on creatives and map them to relevant audiences, test different versions and formats to continually optimize campaigns
• Find new opportunities to grow revenue and sales.

• Sound knowledge in controller design and analysis.
• Good understanding in optimisation based control algorithms.
• Experience with implementing PID controller for various unstable system.
• Experience with vehicle modelling and analysis.
• Good understanding of implementation/debugging/testing model and control algorithms.
• Candidate should have experience in programming concepts like OOPS in C++ and Python with robust and efficient coding.
• Experience in Matlab/Simulink, Stateflow.
• Good understanding in code generation, implementation and testing for real time intergration embedded system.

• Algorithm development for different control features.
• Testing of algorithm architecture along with tuning and validation.
• Working with simulation team to integrate and test models and algorithms into simulation environment for rapid development and validation.
• Tuning and validation of plant models to emulate real physical systems’ behaviour
• Co-ordination with other departments to maintain consistency and compatibility in department stack.
