Must-Have Skills:

• Proven expertise in Golang (if you need to prove yourself, this isn’t the role for you).

• Deep understanding of concurrency, memory management, and system design.• Experience with Trading, market data processing, or low-latency systems.

• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and real-time

processing.

• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• A portfolio of work that speaks louder than a resume.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Past experience in fintech, trading systems, or algorithmic trading.

• Contributions to open-source Golang projects.

• A history of building something impactful from scratch.

• Understanding of FIX protocol, WebSockets, and streaming APIs.

About KAFQA

At Kafqa, we are building an online global performing arts academy. For our students, we offer live classes conducted by experienced & expert artists. For our artists, we offer a bouquet of opportunities to monetize their skills including being an instructor at Kafqa. Founder

The founder is Shariq Plasticwala. He is a graduate of IIT Bombay & Stanford GSB. He was part of the founding team of Amazon India where he played a key role for over 8 years. Among his roles at Amazon, he was the CEO of Amazon’s first joint venture in India and a Board Member of Amazon’s payments business.

Role

The role is a unique opportunity to be a part of the core team at KAFQA. The responsibilities of the role are per the below:

• Understand the needs of employees across different segments across their lifecycle (discovery of Kafqa opportunities, application experience, interview experience, decision experience, onboarding, settling down, scaling with the organization, attrition & separation) & design best in class experiences always thinking technology first
• Understand the needs of instructors separately and design best in class experiences for them in partnership with head of departments and other teams.
• Meet compliances mandated by central & state governments.

The role is based in Bangalore, India and reports directly to the Founder, CEO of KAFQA.

Experience, Qualifications & Person Type

The ideal candidate is someone who –

• Has 5+ years of experience preferably in a HR role

We are establishing infrastructure for internal and external reporting using Tableau and are looking for someone with experience building visualizations and dashboards in Tableau and using Tableau Server to deliver them to internal and external users. 

Required Experience 

• Implementation of interactive visualizations using Tableau Desktop  
• Integration with Tableau Server and support of production dashboards and embedded reports with it 

• Writing and optimization of SQL queries  
• Proficient in Python including the use of Pandas and numpy libraries to perform data exploration and analysis 
• 3  years of experience working as a Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer 
• Bachelors in Engineering – can be Electronic and comm , Computer , IT  
• Well versed with Basic Data Structures Algorithms and system design 

• Should be capable of working well in a team – and should possess very good communication skills 
• Self-motivated and fun to work with and organized 
• Productive and efficient working remotely 
• Test driven mindset with a knack for finding issues and problems at earlier stages of development 
• Interest in learning and picking up a wide range of cutting edge technologies 

• Should be curious and interested in learning some Data science related concepts and domain knowledge

• Experience in AWS cloud or any cloud technologies

What you will do

Technical Lead provides technical leadership with in-depth application development experience and is responsible for delivering high-quality products. This is a technical role, with a focus on designing, architecting, and developing enterprise applications using Microsoft technology stack.

You are asked to deliver the following

• Understanding stakeholders' requirements and translate them into concrete architecture.
• Work on complex/challenging problems to provide scalable solutions
• Ensure an error-free production execution of the application
• Promote improvements for software development practices, processes, and standards with consideration of quality, innovation, and productivity

What you will need

• BE, BTech, MTech
• 4+ years of experience in developing and enhancing enterprise web applications
• You understand and are aware of the latest Microsoft .NET technology and its evolution over the last 2 years
• Solid knowledge of MVC, .Net 4.0/4.5, jQuery
• You have served as “Single Point of Contact” for managing technical escalations and decisions

Technology Stack

Experience on the Microsoft technology stack (ASP.NET, .Net Core 3.0, Web API, SQL).

We are looking for a Sr. React Native Developer to help design and develop a new mobile application.

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Developing high-quality JavaScript code for the application.
2. Working closely with design and technology teams to gather requirements and formulate solutions.
3. Coordinating with back-end team to establish JSON-based APIs.
4. Deploying and managing application on Google Play Store & App Store.
5. Optimizing application for maximum speed, performance, and compatibility.
6. Making recommendations to address UI/UX issues.
7. Providing assistance to QA to ensure the app is properly tested and QAd.

Desired Candidate Profile
1. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
2. Strong experience working with React Native on production apps, with knowledge of existing standards and best practices.
3. Strong experience in JavaScript, and Redux.
4. Experience with version control tools (GIT).
5. Experience with responsive design/implementation.
6. Familiarity with REST APIs.
7. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Web pack, NPM, etc.

Bonus

Knowledge in any or all of any or all of Swift, Objective-C, Java, and Kotlin is a big plus.
