About the Role

We are looking for a versatile, hands-on software engineer to join our growing team. You will work across embedded Linux systems, networking stacks, robotic middleware, and cloud-connected services. This role demands strong fundamentals, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly — not just familiarity with buzzwords.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robot boot-up sequences and service orchestration to ensure reliable, deterministic system bring-up.
• Configure and manage Linux networking — TCP/IP stack, HTTP, iptables, ARP, DHCP, DNS — for robot-to-cloud and inter-robot communication.
• Own CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and containerized workflows to ship software to robots.
• Manage Docker-based deployment and runtime environments on robot and cloud infrastructure.
• Write and maintain system administration tooling and bash scripts for fleet management and diagnostics.
• Collaborate closely with robotics, perception, and application teams to integrate platform capabilities.
• Establish and enforce best practices around Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review.
• Lead and mentor a small platform engineering team — set technical direction, conduct code reviews, and drive execution.

• Networking expertise — TCP/IP stack, DHCP, DNS, iptables, inter-device communication
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for fleet management and diagnostics

What are you required to do ? (Your Responsibilities) :

• Proactively maintain and develop all linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24*7*365 uptime service.
• Engineering of systems administration-related various solutions for our various SAAS products and projects as well as operational needs.
• Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning.
• Providing technical support to customers for Applications, Operating systems, and networking.
• Will also be the first point of contact for our clients, where installations are placed on a permanent basis, for basic troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Fault finding, analysis and logging information for reporting of performance exceptions.
• Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments.

Skills & Qualification Required (Add Value) :

• Graduate - Preferred to have Bachelor‘s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• He / She should be familiar with the installation and configuration of Linux operating systems and setup and operation of TCP/IP networking on Linux systems also familiar with Internet concepts including SMTP, IMAP, POP, HTTP, DNS, LDAP and related protocols.
• You should possess excellent communication skills .
• Knowledge of Email concepts, Helpdesk Concept , VoIP Concept , Cloud computing will be an added advantage.

Sr. Software Engineer

Job Type: Contractor (~15 hrs a week)

Location: Remote

Schedule: Flexible, you pick the hours and days (including weekends if desired)

Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

You'll create realistic, interesting and challenging coding tasks for AI to solve involving feature implementation and bug fixes, and implement deterministic verifiers that accept reasonable valid solutions and reject everything else.

What we're looking for

1. Strong backend experience in Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, Typescript, Python, C++ or similar
2. A track record building scalable services and APIs
3. Comfort with debugging, performance work and automated testing
4. Solid code review instincts
5. A strong testing background is a big plus — experience designing test strategy, building and maintaining large test suites, diagnosing flaky tests, or raising the testing bar on a team.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Proven experience in backend development, with a track record of delivering high-quality and performant projects.
2. Demonstrated success in identifying and resolving software bugs and system bottlenecks.
3. Experience with codebase refactoring and implementing complex features in large-scale applications.
4. Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and foundational computer science concepts.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
