Sports Technology Technician - Video and Networks

About Us
StanceBeam is a sports tech startup revolutionizing sports analytics through video technology. We're looking for a hands-on Sports Technology Technician to join our Bangalore team. If you enjoy working with cameras, networks, and sports technology in both lab and field environments, this role is for you!
What You'll Do
Video Systems installation and operations
- Set up and maintain video cameras and recording equipment
- Install video cameras for Lab setup and live sports coverage
- Test camera angles and video quality for indoor and outdoor environments
- Keep video equipment organized, well maintained and in working condition
Networks & Connectivity
- Install network cables and set up internet connections
- Configure switches and routers for video streaming
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Set up wireless networks for mobile installations
Installation & Maintenance
- Install, maintain, and remove equipment and cabling
- Run video and network cables cleanly and safely
- Mount cameras and equipment at stadiums and training facilities
- Pack and transport equipment for events
- Perform regular equipment checks and basic repairs
Field Support
- Travel to sports venues for equipment setup
- Support live sports events and demonstrations
- Work with teams to optimize camera positioning
- Solve technical problems quickly during matches
- Train venue staff on basic equipment operation
What We're Looking For
Required Skills
- Technical education (Diploma/ITI) or equivalent hands-on experience
- 1-5 years working with video equipment, technical support or network systems
- Basic knowledge of cameras, cables, and networking
- Ability to install and connect technical equipment
- Physical ability to lift equipment and work at heights
- Willingness to travel and work weekends for sports events
Nice to Have
- Experience with sports broadcasting or live events
- Knowledge of video cameras
- Basic networking skills (setting up routers/switches)
- Sports background as player, coach, or fan
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
Day-to-Day Work
- In the Lab: Test equipment, prepare for deployments, maintain inventory
- At Sports Venues: Install cameras, set up networks, support live demos and events
- Travel: Visit different sports facilities across India
- Problem Solving: Fix technical issues quickly and efficiently
Physical Requirements
- Lift equipment up to 30kg
- Work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Good eyesight and attention to detail

iOS App DevelopmentFunctional Area:
1) Proficient with Swift and Cocoa Touch - Data Structures of Swift
2) Experience with in-memory DB/offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
3) Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
4) Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools
5) Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
6) Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
7) Familiar with Bluetooth based application
8) Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (GIT)
9) Familiarity with continuous integration
10) Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines
11) Knowledge of C-based libraries are preferred
