Position Overview
As a Senior UI/UX Designer at StanceBeam, you will lead the design vision for our cricket-inspired digital experiences across multiple exciting platforms. This diverse role spans from crafting intuitive mobile applications and responsive websites to designing immersive large screen display graphics, 3D motion graphics, and professional broadcast graphics. You'll combine strategic UX thinking with exceptional visual design execution, driving user research initiatives and delivering world-class designs for cutting-edge sports technology projects that reach millions of cricket fans and players worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership & Strategy
- Lead end-to-end design processes from user research to final implementation across diverse digital platforms
- Develop and maintain design systems and brand guidelines for mobile apps, websites, broadcast graphics, and large displays
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define user experience strategies
Present design concepts and rationale to clients and senior leadership User Experience & Research
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes based on research insights
- Analyse user behaviour and feedback to iterate and improve existing designs
- Establish UX best practices and methodologies within the design team
Multi-Platform Visual Design & Execution
- Transform complex sports analytics data into intuitive interfaces for mobile apps and web platforms
- Design compelling large screen graphics for stadium displays and digital signage
- Create professional broadcast graphics for live cricket matches and sports programming
- Develop 3D motion graphics for immersive sports experiences and data visualisations
- Ensure consistent visual language across all touchpoints from mobile screens to broadcast television
Creative Content & Motion Design
- Develop infographics and data visualisations for sports analytics presentations
- Create marketing collaterals, social media graphics, and promotional materials
- Produce sophisticated 3D motion graphics and animations for enhanced user experiences
- Design broadcast-quality graphics packages for live sports coverage
- Edit videos for product demonstrations, tutorials, and marketing campaigns
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Work closely with development teams to ensure design implementation fidelity
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback on design work
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, broadcast, and marketing
- Participate actively in design reviews and stakeholder presentations
Required Skills and Experience
Core Design Skills
- 5-10 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer
- Expert proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both UI design and UX strategy across multiple platforms
- Deep understanding of design systems, interaction design, and responsive design principles
- Good to have experience designing for large format displays and broadcast environments
User Experience & Research
- Proven experience conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis
- Ability to translate research insights into actionable design solutions
- Experience with user journey mapping, personas, and information architecture
- Knowledge of UX methodologies and design thinking processes
Soft Skills & Industry Knowledge
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for client-facing interactions
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously

What You'll Do
Video Systems installation and operations
- Set up and maintain video cameras and recording equipment
- Install video cameras for Lab setup and live sports coverage
- Test camera angles and video quality for indoor and outdoor environments
- Keep video equipment organized, well maintained and in working condition
Networks & Connectivity
- Install network cables and set up internet connections
- Configure switches and routers for video streaming
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Set up wireless networks for mobile installations
Installation & Maintenance
- Install, maintain, and remove equipment and cabling
- Run video and network cables cleanly and safely
