• New Market Identification and Entry:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify and prioritize new market segments and customer verticals for learning/e-learning, localisation, and translation product/service markets. Develop and execute market entry strategies.
• Strategic Partnership Development:
Identify, initiate contact, and build strong relationships with potential strategic partners (e.g., complementary technology providers, industry associations, channel partners) to expand our reach and market presence. Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements.
• Pipeline Origination:
Generate a consistent flow of new, qualified leads and opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, industry events, and targeted campaigns focused on new markets and partnerships.
• Value Proposition Development for New Markets:
Tailor and refine our value proposition to resonate with the specific needs and challenges of new market segments and potential partners.
• Early-Stage Opportunity Management:
Manage the initial stages of the sales cycle for new opportunities, effectively communicating our solutions and qualifying prospects before handing them off to the sales team for closure.
• Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis (New Markets): Continuously monitor and analyze trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within target new markets and partnership landscapes.
• Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with development, marketing, and sales teams to align strategies, provide market feedback, and ensure successful onboarding of new clients and partners.
• Reporting and Forecasting: Track and report on business development activities, pipeline of new opportunities and partnerships, and progress against targets for new market penetration.
• Representing Wordsburg: Act as a key representative of Wordsburg at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings, building brand awareness and generating new opportunities.
Perfect match requirements -
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in the learning/e-learning, localisation, and translation industry or a related technology sector.
• Proven track record of success in business development, specifically in identifying and penetrating new markets and building strategic partnerships in learning/e-learning, localisation, and translation product/service markets.
• Experience in the learning/e-learning, localization, translation, or service industries is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with the localization and translation industry and its potential synergies with learning/e-learningis a strong plus.
