Java Developer

LogiNext is looking for a technically savvy and experienced senior developer to lead development efforts. You will help the team grow in size and skills, optimizing their code while working on your own. You will design, and develop products that exceed client expectations in terms of value and benefit. You will collaborate on scalability issues involving access to massive amounts of data and information.

You have hands-on experience in building secure, high-performing and scalable systems in Java. Your design intuition inclines toward usability, elegance and simplicity. You are biased towards open-source tools and existing frameworks. You have successfully shipped applications with a beautiful front-end and intelligent backend. You have demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and development efforts for high-volume, low-latency applications for real-time event based systems Deliver high-availability and high-performance platform using microservices architecture Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in code, and devise solutions to production and non-production issues Keep an eye out for open source projects and technology trends that can be introduced in the products Transform business functionalities and production specifications into technical requirements and low level design Be hands-on, adopt a practical approach to software and technology Work with product management and other teams to build highly scalable products

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field 0 to 1 years of design and development experience in scalable and distributed enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, JPA, Spring framework and RESTful web services Excellent coding skills in Java Experience in managing, implementing and optimizing big data stores such as MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch Experience in deploying applications and using various managed services provided by cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) Experience in front-end technologies HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, AngularJS and D3.js is preferred Strong foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design Proven ability to drive large scale projects with deep understanding of Agile SDLC, high collaboration and leadership

Required Skills:

• 3+ year of experience in Development in JAVA technology.
• Strong Java Basics
• SpringBoot or Spring MVC
• Hands on experience on Relational Databases (SQL query or Hibernate) + Mongo (JSON parsing)
• Proficient in REST API development
• Messaging Queue (RabitMQ or Kafka)
• Microservices
• Any Caching Mechanism

Good to Have Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in using Java/J2EE tech stacks
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.

• Experience in technical mentorship/coaching is highly desirable.
• Understanding of AI/ML algorithms is a plus.

Key roles:

·       Develop backend application with clean code practices foe the application

·       Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic

·       Troubleshoot and debug application

·       Gather and address technical and design requirements

·       Build reusable code and libraries for future user-facing

·       Communicate with other third-party team for collaborations

Skillset:

·       Core Java - Hands on experience with Jdk 11 and above

·       Experience with code hosting and collaboration tools like Bitbucket/Github/GitLab

·       Microservice architecture - Rest API calls, inter-service exception handling

·       Non-relational DB - MongoDB basic DB commands to insert, update, delete, find records and Indexing

·       Springboot framework - Spring Data JPA, ORM

·       Event driven architecture - Kafka

·       Tools like Postman, Jenkins, Doppler, IDE, MongoDB atlas

Qualifications:

·       UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization, B.Sc in Any Specialization, BCA in Any Specialization

·       PG: Any Postgraduate

Key Skills: OpenText AppWorks, OpenText Process Suite (all sub components), Java, JavaScript, XML, SQL, BIRT.

Required Skills:

• Ability to translate complex business requirement into functional technical requirements using OpenText AppWorks (erstwhile Process Suite) low code design and integration framework.
• Knowledge on implementing OpenText AppWorks integration services using REST, SOAP, and Email etc.
• Good understanding of OpenText AppWorks case management features and BPM features.
• Experience in various rules and features like LifeCycle, Activities, User Interface (XForms and Low Code design), SLA, KPI, OTDS, CARS, AppWorks Gateway, Single-Sign-On, External Authentication, SAML, Listeners (File, MQ), SOAP Services, Email integration, HTTP Connector, AppWorks integration with Content/Document Management, etc.
• Experience in full OpenText AppWorks implementation including Entity modelling and Rulesets design.
• Expertise in Java, JavaScript, SQL Server Database.
• Expertise in building Web Services, REST Services API’s (nice to have) Familiar in designing and developing applications in cloud environments (preferably Azure).
• Authentication SAML 2.0, OT.
• Knowledge of OTDS and integration with OTDS
• Exposure to HTML5 ,angular and integration of AppWorks to with angular will be plus
• Exposure to another OpenText platform (ECM, xECM, Captiva, iHUB).

Product Responsibilities:

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of one or more products and solutions.
