ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team focused on building scalable, secure, and intelligent enterprise software. The ideal candidate is a strong technologist who enjoys coding, mentoring, and driving high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced startup environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers across backend, frontend, and integration areas.
• Drive architectural design, technical reviews, and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases on time.
• Establish best practices in agile development, testing automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build reusable frameworks for low-code app development and AI-driven workflows.
• Hire, coach, and develop engineers to strengthen technical capabilities and team culture.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science from a Tier-1 Engineering College.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, with at least 1 year mentoring or managing engineers.
• Strong expertise in backend development (Java / Node.js / Go / Python) and familiarity with frontend frameworks (React / Angular / Vue).
• Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and cloud architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience building or scaling SaaS or platform-based products.
• Exposure to GenAI/LLM, data pipelines, or workflow automation tools.
• Prior experience in a startup or high-growth product environment.

Job Summary

• Candidate will be responsible for providing full life-cycle development (design, coding, and testing) and maintenance of web-based system on Azure
• Candidate should have experience in GitHub, knowledge of DevOps is a plus
• Experienced in designing and implementing web portals, experience with DNN is must
• Ability to work with multiple languages including C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Javascript and related libraries, HTML, Complex SQL queries, CSS, BootStrap, JSON.
• Experience in Agile project management methodology
• Developing and Delivering Excellent Web based solutions/portals/sites based on customer’s requirement within the stipulated timeline
• The candidate should be flexible to learn new technology and platform and should be creative, innovative for improvement ideas, detail oriented, diligent, and eager to learn and grow

Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements to apply logic to integrate functionalities
• Identify and understand any technical bugs on the server, site, log files or modules and work on resolving the bugs
• Understand how FTP server is setup for the site
• Understand system/site technical requirements and suggest enhancements if applicable
• Designing, coding, unit Testing, and integration with Database
• Handle site deployment
• Designing, coding, debugging, technical problem solving, and writing Unit Test cases, etc.

As a Data Governance Developer at Kanerika, you will be responsible for building and managing metadata, lineage, and compliance frameworks across the organizations data ecosystem.

Required Qualifications :

- 4 to 6 years of experience in data governance or data management.

- Strong experience in Microsoft Purview and Informatica governance tools.

- Proficient in tracking and visualizing data lineage across systems.

- Familiar with Azure Data Factory, Talend, dbt, and other integration tools.

Key Responsibilities :

- Set up and manage Microsoft Purview accounts, collections, and access controls (RBAC).

- Integrate Purview with data sources : Azure Data Lake, Synapse, SQL DB, Power BI, Snowflake.

- Schedule and monitor metadata scanning and classification jobs.

- Implement and maintain collection hierarchies aligned with data ownership.

- Design metadata ingestion workflows for technical, business, and operational metadata.

- Enrich data assets with business context : descriptions, glossary terms, tags.

- Synchronize metadata across tools using REST APIs, PowerShell, or ADF.

- Validate end-to-end lineage for datasets and reports (ADF ? Synapse ? Power BI).

- Resolve lineage gaps or failures using mapping corrections or scripts.

- Perform impact analysis to support downstream data consumers.

- Create custom classification rules for sensitive data (PII, PCI, PHI).

- Apply and manage Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels and policies.

- Integrate with Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) for DLP.

Schedule product demos and appointments for the Business Development team

Maintain accurate call logs, lead records, and follow-ups in CRM tools

Consistently meet or exceed daily/weekly calling and lead generation targets

Requirements

Proven experience in cold calling / telesales / inside sales (EdTech, SaaS, or B2B is a plus)

Excellent spoken English; Hindi/regional languages a strong advantage

Confidence in handling objections and keeping conversations engaging

Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn, or outreach software preferred

Based in India (Tier-1 or Tier-2 city) with strong internet connectivity

• Web application development experience in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (including new ES features), Python
• Hands-on experience in any one of the python-based backend frameworks like Django or Flask or Pyramid along with end to end testing

• Computer literacy (MS Excel, Word etc.) Familiar with accounting software packages. Experience in IDS preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
