Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage all accounting functions for our company. The ideal candidate will handle Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Payable (A/P):
- Invoice Processing – Perform 3-way matching (Purchase Order, Invoice, and Receipt).
- Process vendor payments in a timely manner.
- Track and manage vendor rebates.
- Verify and match vendor invoices with purchase orders.
- Handle payment processing and maintain payment records.
2. Accounts Receivable (A/R):
- Generate and send customer invoices.
- Prepare and distribute customer account statements.
- Apply and record customer payments accurately.
- Monitor customer credit balances and credit limits to ensure compliance with company policies.
3. Monthly Close & Financial Management:
- Perform bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
- Record accruals and journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain and track fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
4. Full Accounting Oversight:
- Handle all accounting responsibilities, ensuring proper financial controls and compliance.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports for management.
- Assist in tax filings and compliance as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper handling end-to-end accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, and Month-End Close.
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Analysis, etc.) are required.
- Strong computer skills and ability to work with multiple accounting systems.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO), Zoho Books, or Xero is an added advantage.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
