Role Overview:

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead at Alyke, you will lead the QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will be responsible for developing and implementing QA strategies, overseeing all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met. This role requires a combination of strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of QA methodologies in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

● Lead and mentor the QA team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Extensive work in Appium is much needed.

● Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, standards, and processes to ensure the highest quality of our software products.

● Oversee the creation and execution of test plans and test cases, ensuring thorough testing of new features and applications.

● Establish and monitor key QA metrics to track and improve software quality and team performance.

● Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and operations to ensure timely and high-quality releases.

● Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and coverage.

● Manage the defect tracking process, ensuring clear documentation and effective resolution of issues.

● Conduct regular reviews and audits of QA processes to identify areas for improvement.

● Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously integrating new techniques and tools into the QA process.

● Ensure the application’s compatibility across different devices and platforms, particularly mobile.

● Develop training programs and materials to enhance the skills and knowledge of the QA team.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

● 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

● Proven experience in developing and implementing QA processes and strategies.

● Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including experience with manual and automated testing.

● Proficiency in using QA tools such as JIRA, Selenium, Appium, or similar.

● Extensive experience with testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.

● Strong understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and related tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

● Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and manage a team.

● Experience with security testing and understanding of data protection standards is a plus.

● Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time.

Qualifications:

• Education:  MBA or equivalent from a prestigious institute such as IIM preferred.
• Experience: 4-6 years of progressive experience in business development, operations management, or related fields. Prior experience in a leadership role preferred.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Strategic Vision: Proven ability to think strategically, anticipate future trends, and translate vision into actionable plans.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

• Generating leads for SMS and Email marketing.
• Increase sales & revenue. Achieve goals and targets.
• Preparing Sales and Marketing Strategy.
• Report on a daily/weekly basis.
• Coordination and communication with internal and external customers for enquiry generation & enquiry handling.
• Excellent communication skills and efficiency in MS-Excel, MS-Word & MS- PowerPoint.
• Strong in Client interaction.
• Enter and update customer information in the database.
• Answer questions about products or the company.
• Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.

• Overall 4 years development experience with 2+ years of professional experience working with React Native
• An understanding of React Native best practices and a commitment to following them.
• Experience with popular React Native workflows such as Redux and ESLint, Jest, Enzyme.
• Experience with Agile development, scrum.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve complex technical issues and make design decisions to meet the critical requirements of scalable, highly available, multi-tenant enablement of services in the cloud.
• Independently investigate, present options, review and implement completely new functionality OR re-architect an existing solution to meet growing needs
• You will work closely with other development teams, product management, UX, and QA to define and implement a new product offering while ensuring continued functionality.
• Work with various external (application) teams to integrate with the product and help guide the integration.
• You will implement solutions that include database schema, business logic, and some presentation layer work.
• You will use existing methods and best practices in the software industry to create features and platforms with the highest levels of security, reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Experience mentoring senior developers.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software development experience with a proven track record of making technical decisions
• 8+ years of experience in coding in more than one programming language, e.g. Python, GoLang, node.js, etc
• Intimate working understanding of modern web applications from the database to browser
• Intimate understanding of MongoDB and extensive experience with database-driven applications
• Great problem-solving skills and ability to abstract functional requirements
• Excellent communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts
• Experience designing and improving complex software applications
• Experience coaching and mentoring developers at various levels of experience
• You have a sound understanding of programming fundamentals & their application to highly scalable web-based systems.
• You have successfully led a small agile team.
