Frontend Engineer / MEAN Stack Developer

What you need to be successful
● Advanced JavaScript, CSS, HTML 5, DOM Concepts
● Knowledge of REACT tools and framework including React.js (Hooks + Classes), Webpack,
Redux, and Flux, Next.js
● Knowledge of Typescript
● Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.

At Leena AI, We are looking for a passionate Lead Front-End Developer who is proficient with React.js. You will be involved from conception to completion with projects that are technologically sound and aesthetically impressive. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality products are important.

Responsibilities:
As a Lead Front-End Developer you would be responsible for:

• Leading a team, Collaborate with team to deploy and continuously improve our solutions
• Developing new user-facing features using React.js.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality and pixel perfect code.
• Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

Requirements:

Ideal Candidate

• Proficiency with HTML5, Javascript, Angular JS, React JS and CSS3
• Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable, highly performant code for Website and Web applications.
• Experience with scripting languages (PHP) will be preferable.
• Excellent communication skills, good visual design sense, in-depth experience in developing web-based applications.
• Architecting, configuring, and automating the build process.
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices

What you need to have:

Experience: 2 to 7 years

We're looking for developers who are interested in solving problems. We like people who are willing to work across the technology spectrum. 

 

An example of a typical problem would be a product feature that requires UI/UX (Typescript/React/HTML/SCSS), server changes (Java/Scala/R), and database changes (MySQL).

You will own some or all of a product/feature. You will also mentor others, read and review code, maintain code, deploy code, tune the performance of systems, as required.

Requirements :

- We're looking for 4 years or more of relevant work experience. That being said, if you think you have the necessary skills to make the number irrelevant then do talk to us

- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and sufficient knowledge of database concepts to write efficient queries

- Working experience in one or more of React, Redux, Typescript, and associated tools such as Webpack, Grunt, Gulp etc.

- Working experience in HTML, (S)CSS

- Working experience writing unit/functional/integration tests

- Knowledge of Java 8 features such as streams and lambdas is a plus

- Knowledge of REST concepts and design is a plus

- Knowledge of ES6 features/syntax is a plus
