AI Lead (Backend Systems & Architecture)

This is not a feature-delivery role. This is an architecture, ownership, and AI systems leadership role.

At Techjays, we build production-grade AI platforms for global clients. We are looking for an AI Lead with strong backend engineering expertise—someone who can design, scale, and take complete ownership of intelligent systems end-to-end.

You will operate at the intersection of backend engineering, distributed systems, and applied AI, driving both technical direction and execution.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and scale backend systems powering AI-driven applications
• Design and implement AI workflows such as RAG pipelines, agents, and LLM integrations
• Own systems end-to-end: architecture, development, deployment, and scaling
• Build reliable, high-performance distributed systems
• Integrate and optimize LLMs (Claude, GPT, etc.) for real-world use cases
• Lead backend and AI initiatives with strong technical ownership
• Ensure performance, scalability, observability, and cost efficiency
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across teams
• Collaborate with product and AI teams to build AI-native solutions

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in architecting and scaling backend systems end-to-end
• Strong expertise in Python (Django / Flask / FastAPI)
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and system design
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP in production environments
• Solid experience working with LLMs (Claude, GPT, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of:
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, etc.)
• Experience in building and managing microservices architectures
• Ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and drive technical excellence
• Strong problem-solving skills with an ownership mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience building AI agents or autonomous systems
• Familiarity with real-time data systems or streaming (Kafka, etc.)
• Understanding of MLOps and AI system lifecycle
• Experience optimizing AI systems for latency, cost, and scalability

Job Title: AI Solutioning Architect – Healthcare IT

Role Summary:

The AI Solutioning Architect leads the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions across the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and healthcare IT standards. This role defines the AI/ML architecture, guides technical execution, and fosters innovation using platforms like Google Cloud (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect scalable AI solutions from data ingestion to deployment.
• Align AI initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements (HIPAA).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI projects.
• Lead POCs, evaluate AI tools/platforms, and promote GCP adoption.
• Mentor technical teams and ensure best practices in MLOps.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
• 12+ years in software development/architecture with strong AI/ML focus.

• Experience in automation technologies PLC programming, WinCC OA, Siemens TIA portal, and protocols OPC UA, plant simulation.

WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in the context of the project

• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.

• Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets

• Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.

• Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs.

• Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it.

• Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement

• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.

• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs

• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken.

• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements

As an Implementation specialist, you will focus on understanding & implementing incentive structures of our clients from various industries such as insurance, banking, IT services, FMCG etc and on delivering a world-class customer experience. A good understanding of sales data for analytics is a must. Key Responsibilities

• Digitize Customer’s incentive programs after understanding data and customer requirements.
• Understands client’s data structures & consults client on optimizing the data templates
• Setup the client’s account with the initial data, create necessary data relationships & setup incentive programs
• Train & handhold client in using the platform & effectively manage their incentive structures on the platform
• Should be able to build analytical models to convert data into future templates so others can use them. • Build relationships with the existing clientele.
• Partners with Product, Project Manager, and other business owners to define the business need for the project.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer requirements and expectations.
