Position Overview
As a Business Analyst at F22 Labs, you will play a critical role in understanding client requirements and transforming them into detailed, actionable plans for the development and design teams. You will be a bridge between the technical and non-technical teams, ensuring that business needs are effectively met with innovative solutions. Your work will directly impact the quality and success of the software products we deliver to our clients, helping them realize their vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with clients to gather, define, and document detailed business and technical requirements.
- Estimations: Work with project managers and technical leads to create accurate project timelines and cost estimates.
- Proposals: Assist in preparing and presenting project proposals and scope of work for new clients.
- Coordination with Clients: Act as a liaison between clients and the internal development team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals.
- Create Quick POCs: Develop quick prototypes or proof of concepts to showcase potential solutions to clients.
- Pre-sales Conversation: Engage with prospective clients in pre-sales conversations to understand their needs and present solutions.
- Service Company Experience: Use your understanding of service-based projects to manage client relationships and ensure high client satisfaction.
- Close Monitoring of Development: Ensure that the product is being developed correctly by closely monitoring progress and tracking development stages.
- Testing Products: Conduct testing to verify that features are working as expected, ensuring high product quality.
- Prepare Scope of Work: Prepare a detailed scope of work for each feature, breaking it down into specific tasks to guide the development process.
- Project Deliverables: Ensure that project deliverables are on track, and communicate proactively with clients in case of any plan changes or delays.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with the ability to work in a fast paced robust environment.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements for web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and related tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with creating functional specifications, wireframes, user stories, and use cases.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose practical solutions to complex business challenges.
- A client-focused approach with the ability to understand and meet client expectations.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of current technology trends in software development is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
A. Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the admission business, targeting Preschools, CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, IB, and boarding schools within the assigned territory.
- Identify and prioritize target schools and institutions, generating leads through various channels such as networking, referrals, and online research.
- Conduct thorough research on individual schools, understand their admission processes, pain points, and requirements, and tailor admission sales pitches and product offerings accordingly.
- Engage with school administrators, principals, admission officers, and other stakeholders to demonstrate the value and benefits of the admission management solutions.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to highlight key features and advantages of the solution.
- Develop and negotiate pricing proposals, contracts, and agreements in collaboration with the sales team and the legal department.
B. Relationship Building and Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, IB, and Boarding schools, including school administrators, admission officers, and management teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to schools, providing expert guidance on streamlining admission processes, enhancing efficiency, and improving the overall admission experience.
- Conduct regular check-ins with existing customers, address inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the customer base and develop strategies to maximize revenue.
C. Area Management:
- Effectively manage and prioritize the assigned area, including travel planning, scheduling meetings, and optimizing sales routes.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, regulations, and industry developments related to admission processes in CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, IB, and Boarding schools.
- Attend relevant conferences, trade shows, and educational events to network, gather market intelligence, and represent the organization.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within the education sector, specifically in selling admission management solutions to CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, IB, and boarding schools.
