Our efforts are centered on developing advanced autonomous technology for the maritime industry, serving both defense and commercial sectors with a global perspective. Our work focuses on autonomous vessels, both surface and underwater, as well as on autonomous port infrastructure.

About the Role : 

As a Robotics Test Engineer, you will own critical parts of our verification and validation (V&V) process for autonomous surface and underwater vehicles. You’ll design test plans, build automated validation pipelines, participate in field trials, and analyze data to ensure our autonomy stack works flawlessly in the harsh and unpredictable marine environment.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll collaborate across robotics, embedded, and mechanical teams, and see your work validated directly on real vessels deployed in the water.

What You’ll Do

• Own the design and execution of system-level test plans for navigation, control, and perception subsystems.
• Develop hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) setups to validate autonomy algorithms before deployment.
• Design and automate test frameworks in ROS/ROS 2, Gazebo, and simulation environments.
• Plan and execute sea trials and field experiments to validate vessel behavior in real-world conditions.
• Collect, analyze, and visualize sensor and system data (LiDAR, sonar, IMU, GNSS, cameras) to identify bottlenecks and system failures.
• Collaborate with robotics, embedded, and mechanical engineers to troubleshoot integration issues.
• Document test procedures, results, and lessons learned; communicate findings through reports and presentations.

You Have

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in robotics, engineering, or related technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in robotics testing, system validation, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or C++ for automation, debugging, and data analysis.
• Experience with ROS/ROS 2, Gazebo, and Linux-based development.
• Understanding of robotic sensors and subsystems, such as LiDAR, sonar, IMU, GNSS, and control loops.
• Proficiency with Git and modern software engineering practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

We Prefer

• Experience with autonomous vehicles (marine, aerial, or ground).
• Background in systems engineering verification & validation (V&V) methods.
• Prior experience in field testing and real-world deployments.
• Exposure to simulation-based testing and data visualization tools (matplotlib, Plotly, RViz, Foxglove).
• Experience debugging complex robotics systems in multi-disciplinary environments.

You must be willing to explore creative solutions that are visually inspiring and conceptually sound.

• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, advertisements, and multimedia design.
• Ability to understand briefs and translate concepts into creative, innovative visuals, effectively overseeing projects from start to end including on-time delivery.
• Eagerness to improve, keep learning, update skills and innovate as per business requirement and market.

Skills:

• Proficient to expert level experience in Adobe Suite focusing on Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe XD is a plus.
• Intermediate/high proficiency in design principles like typography, composition, scale, color theory, and an advanced knowledge of how those principles work together
• Digital platform design experience and understanding of cross-platform design guidelines.

Experience:

• Strong creative vision and visual arts skills with an established portfolio of B2B print and digital marketing collateral including social media creatives, brochures, reports, sales presentations, pitch decks, etc. preferably in an agency environment.
• Working knowledge of website UI design and motion graphics is a plus.
