Position Overview:We are looking for a skilled Node.js / AI Engineer to join our Lighthouse Tech Team. This role is focused on application development, where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying intelligent, AI-powered applications. You will leverage your expertise in Node.js and modern AI technologies to build sophisticated systems that feature Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Design, build, and integrate AI-powered features into our core applications.
• Implement and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to ensure accurate and context-aware responses.
• Develop and orchestrate autonomous AI agents to automate complex tasks and workflows.
• Work with third-party LLM APIs (like OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and open-source models, fine-tuning and adapting them for specific use cases.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to define application requirements and deliver high-quality, AI-driven solutions.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of AI-powered applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend application development with a strong focus on Node.js.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in AI-related development, including building applications that integrate with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Demonstrable experience developing AI agents and implementing RAG patterns.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and libraries relevant to application development (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

We are looking for Course Resource Developers/ Academic Writers for our Accounting and Finance vocational training division in Australia. For our Australian Registered Training (RTO) registration we require Course Resource Developers/ Academic Writers for the initial and ongoing development of course training resources and training compliance documents.

Successful candidates can work remotely from their home, or own office in their home country, to support our Australian training operations.

Your New Role
As a Course Resource Developer/Academic Writer you will be responsible for developing resources and compliance documents and adapting them for specific target student cohorts.

You will utilise your training background to:

• Assist with developing training compliance documents for RTO registration using the templates provided by Senior Consultants
• Develop Accounting and Finance assessments and PowerPoints using the texts provided
• Upload content to the online platform and ensuring information is interactive and comprehensible

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Minimum bachelor or higher level qualification in Accounting and Finance
• Previous experience in course development and writing
• Knowledge and confidence with editing of online training portals
• Previous experience working within a training organisation
• Ability to work with trainers to create appropriate scenarios
• Ability to work from home using online platforms such as Zoom and Skype

Who We Looking For

• Those with excellent academic writing skills in English
• University lecturers working in Accounting and Finance disciplines (current or retired)
• Excellent writing skills when using sample documents and templates
• Those who hold a bachelor degree, or above, qualification in Accounting and Finance

How We Will Select

• We will review your resume for selection for a short interview via Zoom
• You will be given a familiar topic to complete an academic writing task and monitored via Zoom
• Based on your interview and academic writing skills selection will be decided

Responsibilities
 

• Conceptualizing a game character (2D) visuals based on requirements
• Creating images and concepts by hand or using design software
• Develop illustrations, logos and in-game assets using software or by hand
• Testing graphics across various media 
• Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites
• Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style on social media adverts

• Proven graphic designing experience 
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma)

• Reconciliation of payroll data and maintain a proper document control system for auditing
• Process candidate offers. Engage and explain compensation and benefit details to prospective employees
• Coordinate with various departments and ensure that the new joiner induction goes smoothly
• Verification and collection of documents from the new joiners and their maintenance
• Administration of CRM used for employee performance and appraisal
• Administration of CRM used for tracking employee vacation details
• Responsible for filing all the relevant documents as required under the labor law
• Address any routine HR request by employees

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in the field of HR/Payroll in the field of IT/ ITES.
• Good knowledge of employment processing, statutory benefits, records management and recruitment.
• Minimum graduate. Preferably with a commerce background. MBA is a bonus.
