Position Overview
As a Video Editor at F22 Labs, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging videos for various platforms including social media, websites, and client projects. You will work on short-form content like reels, YouTube shorts, and professional video edits, with a focus on helping brands communicate their message effectively. You’ll bring creativity and technical expertise to produce visually stunning videos that align with client branding and resonate with their audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Video Editing: Create and edit professional short-form videos (e.g., reels, YouTube shorts) and long-form content as required.
- Brand Collaboration: Work closely with brands to ensure video content aligns with their vision, messaging, and guidelines.
- Social Media Content Creation: Develop engaging videos for social media platforms, focusing on trends, audience preferences, and optimization for each platform.
- Motion Graphics & Visual Effects: Integrate motion graphics and visual effects to elevate video content.
- Sound Editing and Mixing: Ensure audio quality is on par with the visuals, balancing sound effects, voiceovers, and music.
- Color Grading and Correction: Enhance video aesthetics with color grading and correction to maintain a polished, professional look.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with creative directors, marketing teams, and other collaborators to bring video projects to life.
- Content Optimization: Edit content for the right formats and dimensions based on platform requirements (Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
- File Management: Maintain an organized structure for raw footage, edited files, and final exports.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve or other relevant softwares.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and resolutions for different platforms.
- Experience in sound editing and mixing using tools like Adobe Audition or Audacity.
- Basic knowledge of color grading and correction tools.
- Strong visual storytelling skills with an eye for detail, pacing, and audience engagement.
- Experience with motion graphics and visual effects (using Adobe After Effects or similar tools).
- High attention to detail to ensure high-quality video output.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while managing time effectively.
- Deep understanding of branding and corporate guidelines, with the ability to implement them into video content.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, especially when working with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with the requirements of social media platforms LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.) for video content.
- Creativity and the ability to bring fresh ideas and new perspectives to video projects.
- Basic knowledge of motion capture and 3D animation (optional but a plus).
