Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Accounts & Finance Head (CA) to lead the financial operations of our garment export business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic financial planning, regulatory compliance, export finance management, and leading a finance team in a high-volume manufacturing and export environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end financial operations including accounting, budgeting, taxation, and audits.
- Manage and monitor export-related finance, including packing credit, post-shipment finance, LC handling, and foreign currency transactions.
- Ensure timely statutory compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI, and other applicable laws.
- Coordinate with banks for funding, credit limits, and working capital requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of accountants, ensuring accuracy in books of accounts and financial reporting.
- Prepare and present MIS reports, cost analysis, and profitability statements to the management.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government departments.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and implement internal financial controls.
- Handle vendor payments, payroll processing, and internal audits.
- Support top management in financial forecasting, strategic planning, and risk management.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years of relevant experience, preferably in export or textile industry.
- In-depth knowledge of export finance, GST laws, income tax, and other compliances.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in ERP/Tally.
- Proficiency in Excel, MIS, cash flow, and cost control strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Should be proactive, ethical, and results-driven.
