Role Overview

Are you a results-driven and detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of telecom regulations and backend operations? We are seeking a dynamic Compliance Analyst - Operations to take ownership of backend operations, vendor management, and ensure full adherence to telecom-related compliances. This role requires a deep understanding of telecom infrastructure, data center operations, and regulatory frameworks. You will be instrumental in driving compliance, optimizing operational processes, supporting strategic business growth, and mitigating potential operational and compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all telecom-related laws, licenses, and regulatory guidelines (TRAI, DoT, etc.). Stay updated on compliance mandates, coordinate audits and filings, and manage relationships with regulatory bodies.
• Telecom Procurement & Vendor Management: Conduct end-to-end procurement of telecom resources and services, ensuring cost efficiency, SLA adherence, and compliance in vendor contracts. Develop and execute vendor management strategies including evaluation, onboarding, contract compliance checks, and performance reviews. 
• Data Center Operations: Oversee procurement and resource planning for data center infrastructure, monitor performance, identify areas for optimization and regulatory alignment, and ensure adherence to relevant security standards. 
• Vendor Governance: Develop and execute vendor management strategies including evaluation, onboarding, contract compliance checks, and performance reviews. Manage relationships with key vendors
• Asset & Infrastructure Troubleshooting: Manage technical troubleshooting, minimize downtime, and ensure preventive maintenance protocols for telecom infrastructure and data centers.
• Ticketing & Issue Resolution: Handle operational queries via ticketing system, conduct root cause analysis, and suggest process improvements.
• SOPs & Process Development: Define, document, and suggest Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across telecom, compliance, and backend operations .
• Audit & Cost Optimization Support: Assist in telecom/vendor audits (internal and external) and contribute to cost-efficiency initiatives across operations. Familiarity with audit frameworks is desirable.
• Risk Management & Mitigation: Identify potential operational and compliance risks and develop and implement mitigation strategies. Stakeholder Management: Interact and manage relationships with external stakeholders like regulatory bodies and auditors.
• Admin Oversight: Manage end-to-end admin tasks including facility coordination, vendor contracts, and support services to ensure smooth daily operations

Experience: 1-3 years minimum in backend operations with mandatory exposure to telecom infrastructure and telecom regulatory compliance.

• Skills: Deep understanding of the TRAI/DoT landscape, strong vendor management, analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office/data reporting tools, and experience with ticketing systems.

Your Skills & Experience:

•1-8 Years experience of implementing commerce application on any eCommerce platform in last 3 years

• If you have not worked in eCommerce platform, we can still discuss with you if you are expert in Java/.Net and understand REST/SOAP webservices.

•Demonstrate proficiency in build and release management using CI/CD strategies (leveraging tools like Jenkins and DevOps practices), implement Mocha/Chai unit and functional test cases in order to reduce costs while ensuring quality

•Contributes to designing, implementing and documenting the build release process as well as system configuration and deployment characteristics of the applications

•Participates in technical walkthroughs/ code reviews of other team members’ components, test plans and results and help them with gaps

•Collaborate with architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards

•Identifies risks and issues, and help monitor them

•Guides the development of reference and resource materials

•Mentors developers in improving their platform knowledge and development skills

•Communicate technical design to the developers and help/guide them in the implementation

•Participates in Agile sprints

Project Overview: We are looking for expert level Postgres database developer to work on a software application development project for a fortune 500 US based telecom client. The application is web based and used across multiple teams to support their business processes. The developer will be responsible for developing various components of the Postgres database and for light administration of the database.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with onshore, offshore and other team members to understand the user stories and develop code. Develop and execute scripts to unit test. Collaborate with onshore developers, product owner and the client team to perform work in an integrated manner.

Experience preferred:

• Extensive experience in Postgres database development (expert level)
• Experience in Postgres administration.
• Must have working experience with GIS data functionality
• Experience handling large datasets (50-100M tables)
• Preferred – exposure to Azure or AWS
• Must have skillsets for database performance tuning
• Familiarity with web applications
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Experience working cohesively in integrated teams
• Good interpersonal, communication, documentation and presentation skills.
• Prior experience working in agile environments
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with clients, Business Analysts and Developers
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
• Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
• Ability to resolve project issues effectively and efficiently
• Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines
• Experience working with onshore-offshore model

What you need to have:

• CA Qualified (Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience)
• Should have experience working in high growth companies and handling voluminous data.     
• Experience of managing a team of 7-10.    
• Deep inclination towards automation/ technology optimization
• High level of analytical skills 
• Extremely good level of communication skills 
• Experience working in a startup would be preferred.       

• We need people with Test complete + Python.
• It's well and good to have Test Complete knowledge but Python knowledge is mandatory.
• C# is good to have too.

• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance.
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Writing well designed, testable, efficient code.
