About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Lead to lead and manage Microsoft 365, Azure, and Enterprise IT Operations environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft technologies, cloud infrastructure, security, endpoint management, and operational excellence.
This role requires a balance of technical leadership, customer engagement, problem-solving, and team management capabilities to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Manage and support Microsoft 365 services including:
- Exchange Online
- Microsoft Teams
- SharePoint Online
- OneDrive for Business
- Entra ID (Azure AD)
Identity & Access Management
- Manage Entra ID, Active Directory, Hybrid Identity, and Conditional Access.
- Implement and maintain Zero Trust security principles.
- Configure authentication, SSO, MFA, RBAC, and identity governance.
Endpoint Management
- Administer Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager.
- Manage Windows Autopilot deployments.
- Configure device compliance, configuration profiles, application deployment, and MDM/MAM policies.
- Implement BitLocker, Defender policies, and endpoint security controls.
Security & Compliance
- Manage Microsoft Defender Suite and Security Center.
- Configure and monitor:
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Defender for Office 365
- Microsoft Purview
- DLP and Information Protection
- Security Baselines
- Respond to security incidents and operational escalations.
Azure Administration
- Support Azure infrastructure, governance, and security.
- Manage virtual machines, networking, storage, monitoring, and access management.
- Assist in cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Operations Leadership
- Lead technical operations teams and provide technical guidance.
- Own incident management, service delivery, escalation handling, and root cause analysis.
- Drive operational improvements, automation initiatives, and service excellence.
Automation & Scripting
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using:
- PowerShell
- Azure Automation
- Microsoft Graph API
- Power Platform (preferred)
- Streamline administration and support processes through scripting.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 Administration
- Hands-on expertise in: Exchange Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview
- Azure Administration and Security
- Windows Server Administration
- PowerShell Scripting
- Troubleshooting complex Microsoft environments
- Incident, Change, and Problem Management
- Strong documentation and operational governance skills
