PythonRole & responsibilities:
- Developing ETL pipelines for data replication
- Analyze, query and manipulate data according to defined business rules and procedures
- Manage very large-scale data from a multitude of sources into appropriate sets for research and development for data science and analysts across the company
- Convert prototypes into production data engineering solutions through rigorous software engineering practices and modern deployment pipelines
- Resolve internal and external data exceptions in timely and accurate manner
- Improve multi-environment data flow quality, security, and performanceĀ
Skills & qualifications:
- Must have experience with:
- virtualization, containers, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- creating log ingestion pipelines (Apache Beam) both batch and streaming processing (Pub/Sub, Kafka)
- workflow orchestration tools (Argo, Airflow)
- supporting machine learning models in production
- Have a desire to continually keep up with advancements in data engineering practices
- Strong Python programming and exploratory data analysis skills
- Ability to work independently and with team members from different backgrounds
- At least a bachelor's degree in an analytical or technical field. This could be applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, operations research, economics, etc. Higher education is welcome and encouraged.
- 3+ years of work in software/data engineering.
- Superior interpersonal, independent judgment, complex problem-solving skills
- Global orientation, experience working across countries, regions and time zones

Learning Design āĀ designing to maximize the learning of the student; having a student centric approach in all decisions regarding design experience.
Storyboarding ā translating the raw video footage into an accessible and engaging series of videos that enhance the studentās learning.

Visualization āĀ using visual medium to convey ideas and enhance learning - creating visual representations of concepts, ensuring visual consistency and harmony in the videos.

Video reviews āĀ checking the quality of videos received from the video editors.
Co-ordination with Production team ā interacting with teammates the extended team (video editing partners) to create a top-quality product.

Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Educational Tech, Instructional Design, Mass Communication, or Journalism. An MBA degree is highly desirable.
- Specialized knowledge: Instructional design, online learning, video-based learning, mobile learning ļ· Other characteristics: team player, ability to work in a global, virtual team, Prior experience in a startup environment will be helpful, innovative, attention to detail, ability to grasp technical concepts and simplify them visually, and an inclination towards understanding academic content.
- Professional certification: Instructional design, video editing a plus
- Experience: At least 6 years work experience in a fast-paced, growth environment in a similar role

The objective of the Emeritus ID Academy is to provide ID training to the selected candidates over 4-5 weeks (approximately one month). They will learn the fundamentals of instructional design from the industry experts and practice ID skills such as storyboarding, visualization and design of the content and so on with support from ID professionals. Post the ID training and completion of their Capstone Project, we'll assess the candidates and onboard them with Emeritus based on their screening results.Ā
