• Provides specialist level functional and configuration support in designing SAP solutions in the areas of SAP PS, PPM.

• Understands the business processes and how the application functions and applies this knowledge to solve problems.

• Act as technical expert within the Project systems team, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions.

• Develops Functional specification and works with technical resources to complete object development and testing.

• Support in document and execute Unit tests, integration and User acceptance testing.

• Perform initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.

• Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality and perform application research.

• Provides alternatives based on best practices and SAP functionality.

• Work with the Service Desk to facilitate incident & problem resolution.

• 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP configuration with minimum Three End-to-End Implementations and at least three Support Projects.
• Good configuration knowledge of PS structures - WBS, Standard structures, Cost planning, Budgeting, Goods movement, Period-end processing – Settlement.
• Experience in Implementing or support of Portfolio and Project management (PPM) and its integration with Project Systems module.
• Sound knowledge of SAP PS integration with other modules such as FI-CO-MM and other SAP solutions such as SAP Ariba and Concur is required.
• Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
• Global client exposure is a must.
• SAP Certification in PS and PPM modules will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of using SAP Solution Manager for managing projects and change management.

• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Manage the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to the project plan.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and manage their expectations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
• Facilitate regular status meetings with stakeholders and project teams.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, and ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3+ years of experience in project management within the IT industry.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Scrum)
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, Asana)
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT infrastructure.
