About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in bidding and client acquisition on freelance platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, and Fiverr. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, writing compelling proposals, and building long-term relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and Guru.
• Write engaging, customized, and winning proposals tailored to client requirements.
• Manage client communication from initial contact to project closure.
• Understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams to deliver appropriate solutions.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets and contribute to revenue growth.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of proven experience as a Business Development Executive, Online Bidder, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with freelance portals such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and Guru.
• Strong proposal writing and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Good understanding of IT services, digital marketing, web & app development, or design services.
• Ability to understand client requirements and offer effective solutions.
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Experience:
• 7+ years of experience in ETL development using IBM DataStage.
• Hands-on experience with designing, developing, and maintaining ETL jobs for data warehousing or business intelligence solutions.
• Experience with data integration across relational databases (e.g., IBM DB2, Oracle, MS SQL Server), flat files, and other data sources.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in IBM DataStage (Designer, Director, Administrator, and Manager components).
• Expertise in SQL and database programming (e.g., PL/SQL, T-SQL).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., UNIX shell scripting) for automation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, BitBucket, Artifactory) and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with IBM Watsonx.data integration or other ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend) is a plus.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop) is an advantage.

These teams are broken down into four branches, Growth & Discovery, Learner Experience, Careers, and Alumni & Breakout experiences which consist of talents from across product, engineering, learner experience, and business to make sure we have no latency in user experience meeting the user expectation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Partner with Designers, Product Managers, and Data folks to drive all stages of research from early product direction through summative validation in an Agile work environment.
• Help to develop and track quantitative measures of user experience (goals, metrics)
• Influence a diverse set of stakeholders through excellent relationship building, and crisply providing insight and deep domain expertise in research practices and product development.

You will be working as a Full Stack Developer and will be based out in Chennai.
