Job Description
We are seeking an accomplished individual to oversee the quality strategy of Civil Infrastructure desktop application.

You will play a key role in defining and executing customer-centric validation strategies that ensure the highest levels of delivering customer satisfaction. We seek a strong software quality assurance engineer with demonstrated success in delivering high quality solutions, passion to represent the customer, hands-on skills in defining validation strategies of technologies, automated testing and quality metrics development.
Responsibilities System Test:
- The successful candidate will also possess communication skills and have experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Analyze and capture the full set of workflows, features and functionality.
- Review the existing system test plan, identify gaps and enhance accordingly
- Review the existing test data and data management, identify gaps and enhance accordingly
- Review automation tests results on a regular basis, execute manual tests per release.
- Participate in defect review and write new defects including first issue analysis based on findings.
Responsibilities Test Automation:
- Understand the current build pipeline and test automation.
- Test Complete as the automation tool
- Initially, this individual would develop a test plan and automation scripts to ensure a high quality deliverable.
- This effort would complement the unit tests and manual testing that is already in place.
Requirements
Qualification & Skills :
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
- 1+ year of experience
- Knowledge of JavaScript, C++
- Knowledge of Scripting languages like Bash or Batch files
- Experience with any UI Automation tool
- Experience working with Visual Studio
Nice to have :
- Knowledge of Jenkins and python programming language
- Experience with Unit testing Frameworks
- Groovy for Jenkins

Primary Role & Responsibility:
As a software engineer, your daily work involves technically challenging applications and projects where your code makes a direct contribution to the further development and upkeep of our software suite and to its application in projects.
You should be able to create Splunk dashboards, apps and should have good understanding of source interfaces for Splunk.
You should have idea of onboarding of data from different sources like JSON, XML, syslog, errorlog files.
