JOB DESCRIPTION: Shopify E-commerce Developer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Shopify E-commerce Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify e-commerce websites. The candidate should be proficient in Shopify theme development, app integration, API implementation, and performance optimization while ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites based on business requirements.
• Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performing Shopify stores.
• Customize existing Shopify themes and develop custom themes from scratch using Shopify Liquid.
• Implement advanced theme modifications while maintaining responsive design and performance.
• Install, configure, customize, and troubleshoot Shopify apps and plugins.
• Develop custom functionalities and integrate third-party applications as required.
• Integrate payment gateways, shipping methods, inventory systems, and other e-commerce tools.
• Work with Shopify APIs, REST APIs, and GraphQL APIs for custom integrations and automation.
• Develop and integrate custom APIs with third-party platforms such as CRM, ERP, shipping, payment, and marketing tools.
• Optimize website speed, performance, SEO structure, and overall user experience.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, bugs, and website errors in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to convert designs into fully functional Shopify stores.
• Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, apps, and e-commerce industry trends.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Shopify website development.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify theme development and customization.

Job Overview

The E-Commerce Manager will oversee the company’s online sales platforms, drive digital revenue growth, and enhance customer experience. The role involves coordinating with marketing, operations, and logistics teams to optimize website performance, increase conversions, and ensure smooth online operations.

Key Responsibilities

·        Platform Management

Manage day-to-day operations of all e-commerce platforms.

Oversee product listings, catalog management, merchandising, and pricing updates.

Ensure smooth functioning of the website and online marketplaces.

·        Digital Strategy

Collaborate with the marketing team for SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media campaigns.

Plan and execute strategies to improve online visibility and sales performance.

Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

·        User Experience (UX)

Conduct regular website audits to improve navigation and mobile responsiveness.

Ensure a seamless and user-friendly checkout process.

Optimize customer journey and overall shopping experience.

·        Performance Analytics

Track and analyze KPIs such as conversion rate, bounce rate, traffic, and ROI.

Generate reports and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Use analytics tools like Google Analytics and CRM systems effectively.

·        Inventory & Fulfillment

Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to maintain stock availability.

Ensure timely order processing and delivery.

Monitor returns, refunds, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·        Proficiency in e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

·        Strong understanding of digital marketing and online merchandising.

·        Experience with Google Analytics, CRM tools, and reporting systems.

·        Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain coordination.

·        Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Candidate should be proficient in 

Experience- 3+ years

Plugin development 

Working with ACF's to build bespoke build

Knowledge of Root sage

Proficiency in MVC coding 

Profieciency in working with Git and CI/CD tools 

Third party API integration and Development 

Must be Disciplined, Accountable for their Jobs and able to ensure timely delivery

Communication skill is important 

Magento 2.0 or shopify could be an additional skill set to be considered.
