Job Description
Experience: Senior Hardware Engineer 4-7 years
Job Location: Pune

Mandatory:
- Responsible for safety electronics hardware product from requirement till validation with certification body
- Design experience on Digital circuits, Analog circuits and microcontroller based design
- Experience/exposure on board bring-up testing, prototype testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience/exposure on Circuit simulation tools such as PSPICE, LTSpice and able to perform reviews
- Knowledge of schematic capture tools like Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and able to perform reviews
- Perform MATHCAD calculation (i.e. in excel or tool) based on hardware design and able to perform reviews
- Contributes to electronics hardware related functionality safety reviews
- Designs multilayer boards and worked on board stack up products
- Planning, Design, Analysis, Compliance / Precompliance Testing and Manufacturing of electronic board(s), product(s) with system understanding.
- Works closely with other engineering disciplines (e.g. mechatronics, internal and external industrial engineering, technical sales towards customer) to ensure quality, to fulfill the requirements and to reach target costs.
- Provides life cycle analysis of electronic components and suggest alternate for replacement
- Creates hardware documentation e.g. BOM, design and test specifications
- Performs activities after serial launch, e.g. change and obsolescence management.
- Good understanding of variety of electronic components and their function
- Understanding of PCB layout and able to perform Layout review
Desirable:
- Carryout FMEA/DFMEA analysis.
- Is responsible for product safety
- Requirement Engineering Certifications like CPRE
- Consults in commissioning products in the field, in order to support responsible Engineer

Technical

● The suitable candidate shall have most of the following knowledge /skills/experience:

● Clear fundamentals of Analog and Digital Electronics. Knowledge of Full Hardware

Design Life Cycle.

● Knowledge of Circuit Simulation (PSPICE, NI Multisim, etc).

● Hand- On experience with HW designing rules, PCB Layout in Cadsoft Eagle/Altium Designer etc.

● Should have knowledge & experience with designing & developing 8/16 bit Microcontroller based close loop control systems and Arduino Platform.

● Circuit building and Circuit Analysis Skills.

● Component Data Sheet analysis skills.

● Project Requirement Analysis Protocols/Ethernet, Wi-Fi, USB, Serial interfaces(SPI, I2C, RS485, RS422, RS232).

● Hands-on experience in utilizing test equipment like DMM, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Function/Signal generator/Solder Station (SMD/DIP).

● Knowledge about Board Bring Up process.

● Testing (Integration testing, protocol/Driver testing, etc.).

● Experience in Embedded C programming and embedded system integration and can develop test cases for the same.

● Knowledge of IoT Open Source Programming / Development.

● Candidate will be responsible for research & development of M2M/IoT products.

●Reviewing the works completed by the tutor on our platform and providing necessary instructions for rectification as required.
●Ensuring the overall quality of work provided to the students from our platform.
●Management of the tutors on our platform, their on-boarding and performance review.
●Planning & implementing the training of the new tutors on our platform.
Skills
●Proper understanding of different programming softwares/subjects related toundergraduate courses of Electronics and Communication Engineering domain.
●Knowledge ofMultisim, LTspice, Pspice and Proteus will be a plus.●Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
●Problem solving attitude with good command on logical reasoning skills
●Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
●Keen to learn about new tools & technologies for use in changing situations.
●Comfortable in working in a fast paced environment with great efficiency.
