Ansible Automation Developer

Fulltime

Note: No need of devops candidate. client looking for programming or coder candidate like software developer or ansible automation candidate.

The minimum skill expectation for these demands is the below combination:

Ansible (programming + Linux) + Python (programming) + API Programming for CMDB (RESTCONF, NETCONF or other) + Github & CI/CD (assuming it’s common nowadays) + background of coding/managing codebases for Configuring Networking Devices/Services in enterprise/production landscapes (Cisco or any other) + 1. Other skills mentioned in the JD (in the section: SKILL MATRIX) are not mandatory but preferred.

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to integrate disparate systems,

ensuring smooth and efficient end-to-end workflows.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide scalable

integration solutions using Ansible, ServiceNow, GitHub, etc.

• Create and maintain API-based integrations.
• Write Python scripts / logic within Ansible playbooks.
• Test and document all integration processes, design decisions, and developed solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system integration and workflow issues, ensuring high levels

of performance and security.

• Continuously monitor and analyse the efficiency of integrated solutions, proposing and

implementing improvements when necessary.

• Participate in regular review sessions with IT peers to discuss best practices, new

technologies, and potential optimizations.

• Offer training and support to other IT team members on integrated systems and

platforms.

• Develop Ansible playbooks for network orchestration.
• Standardize and document network configurations using YANG modelling for Cisco

routers and switches in a design implementation guideline, ensuring alignment with

industry best practices and uniformity across the organization.

• Experience in working in agile environment .
• Background in IT service delivery (ITIL certification preferred).
• Proven technical acumen; ability to bridge tech specifications and business concepts.
• Proficient in WAN, LAN, Wireless LAN, IP - mgt, DNS, DHCP.
• Preferred network related certifications: Cisco DevNet Professional, Cisco CCNP.

Key Qualifications:

5 + years of experience in Software development in multithreaded Java/Python applications

3+ years of UI/UX stack experience (Angular JS/PHP/Javascript)

Extensive experience in coding and debugging Java applications and deployment

Should have experience/exposure to Apache Tomcat, JBOSS, SOAP, REST, Maven, Spring framework, hibernate, Kafka, Zookeeper, DHCP, DNS, SNMP

Extensive experience with MySQL and various NoSQL Databases like MongoDB, Elasticsearch

Modelling languages like Netconf, Restconf, Yang,Tosca, Yaml, XML

Skilled in data center, networking, Linux and cloud technologies especially IaaS

Understanding of the ETSI NFV architecture stack

2+ experience with SDN technologies

2+ experience with OpenStack, Kubernetes or other container orchestration platform

Agile programming methodologies

DevOps - CI/ CD experience with Git, Gerritt, Jenkins

Experience contributing to and working with open source communities like ONAP, ONF
