MAC Engineer

Experience: 5-8 Years

Location: Mumbai (Near CST)

Work Mode: Work from Office/5 days

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MAC Engineer to manage and support Apple devices, including MacBooks, iPhones, and iPads, along with office network infrastructure. The candidate will provide L2/L3 technical support to senior executives, including the CEO and Directors, ensuring smooth device operations, network connectivity, and IT security

Key Responsibilities

1. Apple Device Management

• Deploy, configure, and support macOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices.
• Manage Apple devices using JAMF Pro, Apple Business Manager (ABM), and MDM solutions.
• Perform software installations, OS upgrades, patch management, and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to Apple devices.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and device enrollment.

2. Network & LAN Administration

• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity issues.
• Configure and support network switches, routers, access points, and firewalls.
• Diagnose network performance issues and coordinate with ISPs and third-party vendors.
• Ensure network availability and uptime across office and plant locations.

3. IT Support & Operations

• Provide L2/L3 technical support to VIP users, including the CEO and Directors.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and technical documentation.
• Support conference room technologies, video conferencing, and collaboration tools.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and endpoint security controls.
• Participate in IT infrastructure projects, audits, and technology upgrades.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or equivalent Apple certification.
• 5-8 years of experience in Apple device administration and IT support.
• Hands-on experience with JAMF Pro, Apple Business Manager, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi, switching, and routing.
• Good communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Sophos, or similar networking technologies.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft Intune.
• Familiarity with endpoint security solutions and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience supporting executive leadership and VIP users.

· Excellent OSX desktop and server support skills

· Experiencing supporting OS X desktop and server across a range of versions

· Strong experience with using and administrating JAMF

· Package Deployment, Image upgrade. Security patches &DEP

· Hands on experience with JAMF tools like Recon , Composure , remote and Admin

· Endpoint hardening via JAMF and self service management.

· Experience using terminal commands and scripts

· Great customer relationship skills

· Good written & verbal communication skills

· Being flexible and customer solution focused

· Experience in various application outlook , AD and Teams.

· Cloud knowledge
