REVIEW CRITERIA:
MANDATORY:
- Strong B2C Performance Marketing Profile
- Must have 3+ YOE in managing performance marketing in at least 1 of Google ads campaigns (Search, Display, Universal App Campaigns UAC)
- Must have hands-on experience with campaign setup, execution, daily optimization, reporting, and performance tracking across key KPIs (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROI)
- Must have strong technical skills including familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics
- Must have worked at a B2C digital/tech product company or a digital marketing agency managing B2C digital/tech product clients
- Avoid all e-commerce companies
- Note: Candidates must be from B2C tech product companies where the core user experience is driven by the technology itself
- Minimum 2 years per role required. One short stint is acceptable if there’s a long tenure (eg: 5+ years) in a prior role. Frequent job changes are straight rejects.
- Note: Total years of experience must not exceed 6 years.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The campaign manager is responsible for the technical implementation, management, and optimization of Google Ads campaigns. This role involves ad trafficking, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring accurate and efficient campaign execution. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of Google Ads, and a meticulous approach to campaign management.
- Campaign Setup and Management: Create and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, & UAC.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize campaigns to improve key metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA, and ROI.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generate insightful reports to communicate actionables, campaign performance and ROI to stakeholders.
- A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests on ad copy, creatives, and landing pages to enhance campaign performance.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to ad delivery,tracking , and ad disapprovals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product and design teams to ensure campaign success.
- Competitor Research: Periodically monitor and evaluate competitor best practices to stay ahead and grow market share.
- Automation: Utilize Google Scripts/rules to automate repetitive tasks and optimize campaign management.
- Industry Trends: Stay ahead in the constantly evolving digital marketing landscape.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-6 years of experience in digital ad operations with a focus on Google Ads.
SKILLS:
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, Tag Manager, Google Analytics.
- Excellent at data handling and insight generation, proficiency in Excel & PPT.
- Strong technical skills. Experience with HTML, JavaScript, SQL a plus.
- Experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Ads (Bing), Facebook, affiliate marketing a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
