Criteria:

• The candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

Description

Overview 

We are looking for an experienced finance leader to oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning. This role is responsible for maintaining the company’s financial health and increasing profitability in the short run while managing potential risks and investments. This role will also oversee the management of financial resources and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. 

Company works with hundreds of corporate clients in simplifying their health benefits strategy and administration, by integrating with thousands of healthcare service providers in the backend. This role must have a product centric view of automating accounting and would be responsible for efficiently managing the cash flow.

Responsibilities:  

• Manage Client billing, ensuring accurate and timely billing with a key focus in reducing the volume of corrections, credit notes and customer queries 
• Manage the Payables function ensuring timely and accurate payment of supplier invoices.  
• This will involve improving the validation and payment process, including a review of system and purchase order processes 
• Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations 
• Oversee all audit and internal control operations 
• Track the company’s progress against the forecast and collaborate with various HODs across the company to identify and overcome risks to achieve the targets 
• Coordinate with the FP&A team/data analysts to drive the financial planning, forecasting of the company’s revenues by analyzing its performance and risks 
• To control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure 
• Analyze and present financial reports, forecasts to the Board of Directors on a periodic basis

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant will oversee the complete accounting cycle including financial reporting, statutory compliance, vendor and customer accounts, taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations, attention to detail, and experience in project-based accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Handle GST filings, TDS returns, and ensure timely statutory compliance.
• Monitor receivables and payables, coordinate with the sales and procurement teams for accurate billing and vendor settlements.
• Track project-wise revenue and cost, and support with work-in-progress (WIP) accounting.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities for audits, loans, and compliance matters.
• Assist management with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Implement and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
• Support payroll processing, PF/ESI filings, and other HR-related statutory compliance as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Finance (M.Com / CA Inter preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a contracting or project-based industry.
• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, etc.).
• Experience in handling project accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Roles and Responsibilities

Financial Controller

1. Leadership and Strategic Planning: Collaborating with senior leadership on

strategic initiatives and providing financial insights

2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Leading the budgeting and forecasting process to

provide accurate financial projections.

3. Cost Control: Implementing/ identify measures to control costs and improve

profitability

4. Team Management: Leading and developing a team to ensure effective

performance and goals achievement

5. Risk Management: Identifying financial risks and implementing strategies to

6. Hands on experience of fundraising from Institutional Investors and closely

monitor the due diligence process for fundraising.

Chief Compliance Officer

11. Ensuring compliance with secretarial related matters under Companies Act 2013.

12. Liaison with Stock Exchanges, SEBI and other regulatory authorities and look

after yearly/half yearly returns, audit reports, SEBI enhanced supervision data

and other periodic compliances.

13. Handling of periodic and event-based compliances of Stock Broking, DP, Merchant

Banking, PMS and Market Making. Ensuring timely & accurate regulatory

submission to exchanges, Depositories, various PMS submission etc.

14. Review and defining processes for implementation of various circulars issued by

Exchanges, Depositories, SEBI etc.

15. Query handling in relation to regulatory area of SEBI, Exchanges & Depositories.

16. Handling regulatory & exchange inspections, if any.

17. Assist the Senior Management in overseeing the implementation of the

Compliance Policy, internal codes of conduct, prescriptions in compliance

manuals, etc.

18. Drafting of Annual Report sections relating to secretarial and legal compliances

Responsibilities

• Lead the CV and DS Team
• Work in the area of Computer Vision and Machine Learning, with focus on product (primarily food) and people recognition (position, movement, age, gender, DSGVO compliant).
• Your work will include formulation and development of a Machine Learning models to solve the underlying problem.

• Experience in image processing, algorithms and neural networks.
• Knowledge of the tools, libraries and cloud services for Data Science. Ideally Google Cloud Platform
• Solid Python engineering skills and experience with Python, Tensorflow, Docker
