 Profile Brief:  

You will be a creative Frontend Engineer with specialist React and visualization skills in our fast growing Analytics Team, creating dynamic dashboards to drive our client’s business insights.  

Working closely as an active team member, having ownership & accountability to develop the analytics stories, in delivering timely projects through Scrum. Working with product owners and team leads to clarifying requirements, challenge assumptions in order to ensure successful executions and push the client analytics to its best.  

Key Skills and Experience  

Required Skills: JavaScript (ES6+), React, amCharts, D3.js (or industry equivalent) 

Good to have: SQL, TypeScript, AWS, Scrum, IoT 

Experience: 4-6 years  

• A front-end and data visualization expert with 4+ years of experience  

• Ability to design widget or component based, scalable analytics dashboards

Job Description

It is a platform for parents to find and book kids' activity classes in their neighbourhood.

We are currently hiring a Frontend developer for a startup in the B2C marketplace space based out of Mumbai.  This startup is an Online Marketplace, that serves as a Discovery and Booking Platform for Kids’ Activity Classes. Operations were launched in  November 2019, and have over 20KParents and 500+ educators listed on our Platform across the major Tier-I and Tier-II cities in India.

Platform details are listed below :

1. A SaaS platform for educators to simplify the management of their classes and workshops.
2. Educators get access to a dashboard and use our Class Management tool to create listings, view registrations, manage bookings and payments.
3. The dashboard also provides analytics for teachers to track visitor traffic, see drop offs and understand which social media channel generates maximum ROI for them.
4. Discovery & Booking Platform for parents so that they can search, view and book classes and workshops for their children.

Top 2 role must have’s

1. You should have REACT JS experience of building a product
2. You should be willing to work in a very early stage startup

Tech skills required for this role:

• Front end design in REACT JS at least 1.5 years
• AWS server
• Mongo Database
• API's written in Nodejs

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.

• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.

• Maintain and write clean code to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

•  6+ years of web UI development experience including 4+ years of deep, hands on experience in building robust, highly reusable and responsive web applications using HTML, CSS3, SVG, React, Redux, Thunk ecosystem
• Great problem-solving skills with solid data structures and algorithms knowledge
• Strong ability to translate the design/wireframes into reusable micro components
• Experience of leading, coaching and mentoring junior developers with good delegation and time-management skills
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles and has extensively worked with Redux, Thunk, Axios etc
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token, Oauth2 etc

• A knack for perfection, benchmarking and optimization
