Frontend Developer

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a React.js Developer who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing responsive and scalable web applications. The successful candidate will work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to convert designs and requirements into high-quality, production-ready applications. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to take ownership of features from development through deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and scalable web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable and maintainable frontend components.
• Convert UI/UX designs and Figma prototypes into functional web interfaces.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Manage application state using Redux, Context API, Zustand, or similar technologies.
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Debug and resolve frontend issues across development and production environments.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA, and product teams.
• Participate in code reviews and follow clean coding and development practices.
• Write and maintain appropriate tests for frontend applications.
• Stay updated with modern frontend technologies and best practices.
• Take ownership of features from development and testing through deployment and maintenance.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and React.js.
• Good understanding of React Hooks, component architecture, props, state, and Context API.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 and responsive web development.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or similar.
• Experience with Git and GitHub/GitLab.
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization and browser debugging.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development with React.js.
• Experience with TypeScript and Next.js is preferred.
• Familiarity with UI libraries such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or similar is a plus.
• Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, Vitest, or React Testing Library is a plus.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach to learning and solving technical problems.

Candidates with strong practical experience, personal projects, GitHub contributions, or demonstrable frontend work may also be considered in place of extensive professional experience.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React.js.
• Proven experience with React.js and related technologies (e.g., Redux, React Router, Hooks, Context API).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Server Sent Events, WebSockets
• Hand’s on experience with web components, microfrontends
• Deep understanding of browser apis like history, intersectionobserver, event handling, virtual panes, drag and drop etc
• Ability to work on a complex and fast moving code base.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and its integration with React applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Description:

We are looking for a good JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)

• At least 2 Years of relevant work experience in React JS
• Experience in developing responsive Web Applications Development and reusable UI elements

• Architect and develop scalable and maintainable applications

Required Candidate profile

• Should have experience in  developing and working on consumer facing web/app
• Proficient understanding of JavaScript libraries and frameworks ReactJS
• Proficient understanding of server side rendering through Next.js
• Proven skillsets in responsive Web UI development for enterprise application using technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, React JS Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms and Operating Systems
• Should have experience on HTML5/CSS3, Javascript ,Redux, APIs Integration
• 3-4 years of experience in building client side cross platforms javascript apps in Web & mobile.
• Good experience of developing and integrating APIs
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture
• Review and debug code
• Find and address performance issues
• Proficient understanding of Git
