Interior Design AutoCAD Drafter

About the Role
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Interior Design AutoCAD Drafter to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing production-ready drawings for interior design, custom furniture, millwork, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on premium hospitality, commercial, and luxury interior projects for international clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for FF&E, custom furniture, and millwork.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, shop drawings, and detailed construction drawings.
- Create furniture layouts, finish schedules, and material specifications.
- Coordinate drawings with Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Review and incorporate design revisions while maintaining drawing accuracy.
- Produce production-ready drawings for manufacturing and installation.
- Maintain drafting standards, drawing templates, and documentation.
- Coordinate with designers, project managers, vendors, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and quality standards.
- Deliver drawings within project timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Interior Design drafting, FF&E, Millwork, Joinery, or Interior Fit-Out projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of construction documentation and interior detailing.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and material schedules.
- Knowledge of furniture construction, joinery details, and interior finishes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.

Job Description: The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing architectural plans, coordinating with designers and general contractors, evaluating quotes, and developing detailed millwork packages—including for brand prototypes.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Review and interpret architectural floor plans and translate them into clear, buildable millwork/cabinet designs.
•
Evaluate and mark up shop drawings for compliance, accuracy, and constructability.
•
Understand and apply detailed knowledge of cabinet composition, construction methods, materials, and finishes.
•
Develop millwork drawing packages for brand prototype rollouts, ensuring consistency with design intent, brand standards, and production feasibility.
•
Review and compare supplier quotes, assisting in selection and value engineering where necessary.
•
Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal designers, architects, general contractors, and fabricators throughout all project stages.

Qualifications:
