iOS Engineer

• Responsible for the design, build, deployment, debug & maintenance of iOS applications for app store
• Worked with the UI team to design the appropriate icon and display for the screens.
• Developed the database wrapper functions for data staging and modeled the data objects relevant to the mobile application.
• Tested the application on multiple iOS targets and debugged the issues that were found.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Successfully deployed the app on the App Store and supported the app for different releases of iOS.
• Experience with DevOps development methodologies would be a plus

We are looking for an experienced iOS Engineer to make an immediate impact on our product team. We are a well-funded start-up with a world-class product and team and a growing customer base. Some of your main responsibilities include:  

·   Partner with product management, program

management, QA, and other stakeholders to define requirements, scope projects, and ship products in rapid, iterative cycles 

·   Design, implement and maintain highly complex systems and subsystems. 

·   Deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. 

·   Troubleshoot, debug and optimize existing applications. 

·   Continuously improve the development system and processes 

What You Should Have :

·      Excellent knowledge of data structures and algorithms

·      You have 5 - 9 years of relevant iOS experience and are proficient in Swift and Objective C 

·      You have working knowledge of UIKit, Core Data, Auto

layout and GCD 

·       You are thorough with CS fundamentals like Data Structures & Algorithms, relational databases, multithreading, and concurrency 

·       You have a solid understanding of the full life-cycle of mobile app development, testing, and deployment to the app store, with at least 1 app published on the app store 

·       You are an efficient multi-tasker, able to

smoothly transition between features, bugs, projects, and languages, without breaking a sweat 

·       You are an advocate of clean code and an expert in writing maintainable and reusable design components 

·       You enjoy working with a small, fast-paced,

self-driven team and relish the challenge of going above and beyond the call of duty.

• FRONT-END iOS development in SWIFT (preferable), OBJECTIVE C using AGILE METHODOLOGY to design, develop, debug and deploy iOS Mobile applications with modern architectural practices
• Cross-functioning with our product development team wherein you’ll tackle complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use UI for our customers around the world
• Follow the coding guideline standards to ensure a bug free code as per industry norms.
• Complete unit testing of the code before sending it for review
• Participate in the complete agile software delivery cycle, including development, testing, troubleshooting etc.
• Participate in process improvement program to improve the overall quality of the delivery process.
• This role offers good exposure in E-COMMERCE SEGMENT with HIGHLY SCALABLE design solutions
• Min of 3 years of relevant experience in iOS app development is a must, preferably in e-commerce vertical

• Proven knowledge of iOS SDK and development on X-CODE IDE using SWIFT (preferable), knowledge of OBJECTIVE C, JAVA will be an added advantage
• Responsive Front End Designs with adaptability to various screen sizes
• Familiarity with REST web services and RESTful APIs. Knowledge of SOAP would be an added advantage
• iOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices, preferably MVC, MVVM & MVP
• Good knowledge of SQLite, JS/JQuery for database management
• Proficiency in code versioning tools/Source Code Repositories like GIT, SVN
• Experience with offline storage, threading (AJAX), and performance tuning
• Agile/Scrum methodology using JIRA or any agile tool
• Exposure to security protocols for code, data and system
• Knowledge of the open-source iOS ecosystem, OOPs and the libraries
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with continuous integration

• Self-learner with passion for learning new technologies along with a creative problem-solving approach
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
• Should be adaptable to new ideas and have an out of box thinking approach
• Effective interpersonal communication skills in a highly collaborative team environment

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• B.E/ B. Tech/ M. Tech in Computer Science/ Electronics Communication/ IT engineering
• M.Sc. (Computer Science or IT)/ MCA from a reputable institute
• Good communication in written and spoken English

• A minimum of 3yrs of coding as an iOS Developer.
• In-depth experience with Swift and Xcode.
• Up to date with the latest Cocoa and iOS trends.
• Understanding of UI Kit, Core Animation, Interactions, GCD & Networking.
• Excellent understanding of design patterns & Object Oriented Programming.
• Understanding of analytics, remote reporting and measurements.
• Experience of working with Continuous Integration (CI) and Unit Testing on iOS.
• Experience with API’s and core data.
• Excellent debugging skills.
• Experience working with Git.
• Knowledge of socket based networking desirable.
• Understanding of the iOS ecosystem (APNs, Code signing, iTunes Connect, TestFlight).
