Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting processes, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and financial documentation. The candidate must be capable of handling day-to-day accounting operations efficiently while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities

• Prepare creditors ageing reports and process vendor payments on time

• Perform Party Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliation regularly

• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation

• Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of MIS reports

• Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts

• Handle bookkeeping and ledger maintenance

• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities

• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors regarding financial transactions

• Maintain proper records of bills, vouchers, and supporting documents

• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up for receivables

• Assist during internal and external audits

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company procedures

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payables & Receivables

• Good understanding of TDS, GST, and other legal compliances

• Hands-on experience in Party/Bank Reconciliation

• Good command of MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and coordination abilities

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidate should be well-organized and able to handle multiple accounting tasks

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Prior experience in finance and accounting operations is preferred

• Familiarity with accounting software will be an added advantage

Roles and Responsibilities

• Utilize your professional software development experience to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Ruby on Rails
• Ensure the code you write is defect-free and meets our product requirements
• Demonstrate strong debugging skills to identify and resolve issues promptly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements
• Contribute to the planning and execution of CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions
• Operate with minimal technical guidance, demonstrating your ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results

Requirement

• 10+ years of professional software development experience with Ruby on Rails
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Deep understanding of software development best practices, design patterns and architecture of any Rails application Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and GitHub
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Immediate joiners are preferred

Responsibilities

• Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
• Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, flyers, advertisements, and other communication materials.
• Design social media promotion graphics with copy, and short 30 second videos or gif animation.
• Communicating with clients about layout and design.
• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks, XD.
• Produce drafts for review by clients and make revisions based on feedback. Reviewing final layouts for errors and ensure that final products reflect client specifications and suggesting improvements when necessary.
• Create website and mobile app user interface designs in XD / Photoshop.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or formal arts field.
• Experienced in UI design.
• Ability to make short 30 second videos or animation for Social Media promotion.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with desktop publishing tools, like Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, XD.
• A strong eye for visual composition.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of marketing, production, advertisements, and multimedia design.
• Effective communication and proficiency in English.

• Expertise with Javascript and NodeJS; knowledge of frameworks such as React.js is a big plus
• Experience writing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Expertise with data modeling
• Proficiency with git and Github workflows
• Expertise with test-driven development and automated testing
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL datastore
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English
