What You'll Do

• Manage and maintain Zoho CRM on a daily basis
• Create workflows, automation rules, reports, and dashboards
• Support lead management and sales pipeline activities
• Ensure CRM data is accurate, organized, and up to date
• Handle data imports, updates, and cleanup projects
• Work with teams across Sales, Marketing, and Operations
• Support CRM integrations with business tools and platforms
• Identify process improvements and help drive CRM efficiency

What We're Looking For

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Zoho Developer to help us accelerate the development, customization, and optimization of our internal business systems.

This isn't a traditional Zoho Administrator role. We're looking for someone who can understand a business challenge, architect a solution, and independently bring it to life.

You'll play a key role in building scalable systems, automating complex workflows, and improving how our teams operate across Finance, Accounting, Talent Management, and Operations.

We're also looking for someone who embraces AI-assisted development, using modern tools to accelerate delivery, solve complex problems, and build smarter solutions without compromising quality or security.

This opportunity is structured as an independent contractor engagement with a full-time scope of work, rather than a project-based freelance assignment. You'll work closely with our North American team and take ongoing ownership of technical development initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and optimize advanced solutions across the Zoho ecosystem, including Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Zoho Flow, and Deluge scripting.
• Independently architect and deliver complex technical solutions, from understanding business requirements through development, testing, and deployment.
• Build and maintain integrations between Zoho and external platforms using APIs, webhooks, and other integration technologies.
• Develop automations and workflows that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
• Troubleshoot existing applications, identify root causes, and implement reliable, long-term solutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent technologies to accelerate development and improve productivity.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate operational challenges into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, well-documented, and built to support long-term business growth.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on Zoho development.
• Advanced expertise across the Zoho ecosystem, particularly Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Deluge scripting, and workflow automation.
• Proven experience independently architecting, developing, and delivering complex Zoho solutions in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, webhooks, system integrations, and technical troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent technologies in real development workflows.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including solution architecture, code quality, security, testing, and maintainability.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and take ownership of projects from beginning to end.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• A proactive, resourceful mindset and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a North American team, including some working-hour overlap with Montreal, Canada (Eastern Time).

While these experience benchmarks reflect the seniority we're targeting, demonstrated ability to independently architect and deliver sophisticated Zoho solutions matters more to us than years of experience alone.
