You will be designing front-end architecture with architectural guidelines in mind (secure,high-performing, scalable, extensible, flexible, simple).

Desired Skills
● Minimum 6+ years of coding experience.
● Strong hands-on experience on React.js, MVC & related JS Frameworks.
● Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, single page applications.

‍Expected to manage the product plan, engineering, and delivery of Xoxoday Plum. Plum is a rewarding and incentives infrastructure for businesses. It's a unified integrated suite of products to handle various rewarding use cases for consumers, sales, channel partners, and employees. 31% of the total tech team is aligned towards this product and comprises of 32 members within Plum Tech, Quality, Design, and Product management. The annual FY 2019-20 revenue for Plum was $ 40MN and is showing high growth potential this year as well. The product has a good mix of both domestic and international clientele and is expanding. The role will be based out of our head office in Bangalore, Karnataka however we are open to discuss the option of remote working with 25 - 50% travel.‍

• Scope and lead technology with the right product and business metrics.
• Directly contribute to product development by writing code if required.
• Architect systems for scale and stability.
• Serve as a role model for our high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and processes you will encounter.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across disciplines like sales, customers, product, design, and customer success.
• Code reviews and feedback.
• Build simple solutions and designs over complex ones, and have a good intuition for what is lasting and scalable.
• Define a process for maintaining a healthy engineering culture ( Cadence for one-on-ones, meeting structures, HLDs, Best Practices In development, etc).

• Manage a senior tech team of more than 5 direct and 25 indirect developers.
• Should have experience in handling e-commerce applications at scale.
• Should have at least 7+ years of experience in software development, agile processes for international e-commerce businesses.
• Should be extremely hands-on, full-stack developer with modern architecture.
• Should exhibit skills to build a good engineering team and culture.
• Should be able to handle the chaos with product planning, prioritizing, customer-first approach.
• Technical proficiency

‍You will lead the Plum Engineering team and work in close conjunction with the Tech leads of Plum with some cross-functional stake with other products. You'll report to the co-founder directly.

• As a lead engineer, you will be expected to execute and deliver large and complex projects end-to-end, with or without the involvement of other team members.
• Participate in code reviews, app architecture, and design discussions.
• Ensuring timely delivery of all product deliverables.
• Be the go-to person for the team for guidance and troubleshooting. 
• Mentoring junior developers and set best practices for coding, reviews, etc.
• Ensuring performance and scalability in all new product features being developed. 

• Overall of 5+ years expertise in writing HTML/CSS/JavaScript 
• Experience in Angular and preferably React.js
• Expertise in database modeling, preferably relational DB, spotting DB bottlenecks, and writing optimized DB queries.
• Expertise in all common AWS cloud technologies, knowledge of CI/CD tools, and workflows.

Oversee the sales process to attract new clients.

Work with senior team members to identify and manage risks.

Maintain fruitful relationships with clients and address their needs effectively.

Prepare and deliver pitches to potential investors.

Foster a collaborative environment within the organization.

Transfer call to the supervisor after initial explanation.

• Leading sales demonstrations, following up with the prospect throughout the cycle via multiple mediums including email & phone calls and bringing to closure
• Staying in touch with the prospect to understand their requirements and feedback, and acting accordingly
• Playing a critical role in planning the sales and operations functions to ensure the business goals are entirely aligned
• Helping make data-driven decisions and recommendations for improving the sales funnel and process
• Monitoring daily operations and addressing potential issues when they arise
• Phone calling, both cold calls initially to follow-up calls where necessary (even though maximum communication will be written)

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role is mandatory
• Prior experience of working in B2B Enterprise software sales is preferred
• Previous experience of dealing with enterprises or small businesses and not just selling to consumers
• Resourcefulness to come up with new ideas to re-engage dormant leads
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Flexibility to work until 3 am IST to support US time-zone
• Ability to make smart use of digital tools to organise data, manage CRM, automate parts of the task
• Eagerness to build a career in Sales/ Business Development    
• Open to work in US/Night shift  

• Expertise in Java server-side development: Core Java, Golang Servlets, Spring Core, React JS, Spring Boot with GRPC, and Hibernate.
• Exposure to microservice design patterns.
• Good knowledge in Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Design, Analysis, Design patterns, and other computer science concepts.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, Kafka, PostgreSQL will be added advantage.
