The Role:
We are looking for a talented and passionate Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bringing video projects to life, ensuring top-notch quality and creativity. You will play a critical role in visualizing and executing content that aligns with our brand, and resonates with our target audience.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished video product, ensuring coherence and a logical sequence.
- Design high quality and compelling visuals for marketing in social media, emails, blogs and website.
- Work closely with our content and creative teams to understand the script and storyboard, and translate them into impactful visual narratives.
- Utilize advanced tools in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other prominent video editing software.
- Edit videos specifically tailored for various social media platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, etc.), ensuring they are engaging, trend-aware, and platform-optimized.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies, techniques, and trends in the video editing domain.
- Incorporate sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects as needed.
- Ensure all projects are completed within deadlines.
- Provide feedback, suggestions, and ideas to elevate the overall quality and creativity of the content.
- Continuously optimize workflows and processes for more efficient and creative outputs.
Qualifications:
- 1+years of Proven experience as a Video Editor and graphic design experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva and other prominent editing software.
- Strong ability to understand and visualize scripts to create compelling visual narratives.
- Up-to-date with the latest video editing and graphic designing technologies, techniques, trends and AI tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Hands-on experience editing videos for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) with a strong understanding of current social media trends and formats.
- Having experience in designing visuals for mobile apps, websites and social media marketing
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
