Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical leadership by guiding and mentoring software engineers in creating robust and scalable solutions.
• Lead the recruitment process to identify and onboard top-tier engineering talent.

• Architectural Vision:

Must-Have:

• Managerial and Technical Expertise:
• Possess 3+ years of managerial experience and a solid 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Software Delivery Excellence:
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software within tight deadlines, emphasizing agility in a collaborative and cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Full Stack Development: Collaborate with senior developers and project teams to design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and React.js.

3. Back-End Development: Design and develop server-side logic using Java, including building RESTful APIs, integrating with databases, and implementing business logic.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience and projects will be considered.

2. Programming Skills:

● Strong knowledge of Java programming language and its core concepts.

● Familiarity with front-end development using React.js or similar JavaScript frameworks.

● Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

We’re looking to add a Software Engineer II to an already awesome engineering team for Community. You will be responsible for building and maintaining multiple SaaS applications in the social media space. You will work in small, cross-functional teams and love delivering value to our customers through shipping code. We deploy as often as we can and would love you to deploy to production beginning day one.

• Develop high-quality code to implement features that help analytics 
• Write unit tests for all new code 
• Improve code quality by applying solid design principles 
• Perform code reviews 
• Exhibit end-to-end ownership of a feature/task/bug 
• Work closely with Engineering Manager and Lead Engineer to suggest and implement architectural / design changes 
• Work closely with Product manager, Product Design team to ideate and build feature enhancements

• A Graduate in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• Experienced in building enterprise grade products for minimum of 2 years, that are highly scalable
• Experienced with building Frontend Applications and well versed with Javascript/ReactJS Design patterns, Object Oriented JS, including DOM Manipulation
• Familiarity with Rest API frameworks and patterns 
• Well versed with one or more of these technologies: 
• Frontend: Frameworks - ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS, Apollo 
• CSS, TypeScript, Bootstrap, ESLint 
• Unit Testing Frameworks - Jest
• Programming Languages: Java
• Backend: DropWizard, Spring Boot etc
• Storage: MySQL
• Someone who understands git, pull requests and good software development practices 

• Knowledge of one or more of the following:
• GraphQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, MySQL
• Familiarity with Build Systems like Jenkins, AWS Services (EC2, CloudFormation)

Job description

· You will design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.

· You will follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology and release processes, to ensure code is maintainable, scalable , supportable and demo the software products to stakeholders

· You will investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provides fixes and workarounds, and reviews changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.

· You will work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, work with cross functional teams to achieve goals.

· You will assume technical accountability for your specific work products within an application and provide technical support during solution design for new requirements.

SKILLS
