UX Designer

Position: Senior Embedded Software Engineer – PCIe / Embedded Linux

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Engineer with strong expertise in Embedded Linux and PCIe protocol development. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of PCIe (Gen4 and above) and experience in developing and debugging embedded systems at both hardware and software levels. Exposure to AI/ML or accelerator-based systems will be considered a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize embedded software on Linux and RTOS platforms.
• Implement and validate PCIe-based communication and device drivers (Gen4 minimum, Gen5/6 preferred).
• Work closely with hardware and system teams to debug low-level issues related to PCIe interfaces.
• Develop firmware and system-level software components for high-performance embedded platforms.
• Participate in board bring-up, performance optimization, and hardware/software integration.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and design reviews.
• Document design, testing procedures, and performance analysis.

Core Skills Required:

• Embedded Linux development (mandatory).
• Deep understanding of PCIe protocols (Gen4 minimum; Gen5/6 preferred).
• Strong knowledge of low-level driver development, DMA, interrupts, and memory management.
• Experience with Embedded RTOS environments.
• Familiarity with hardware debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes).
• Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting (Python, Shell).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Exposure to AI/ML hardware accelerators or data processing units (DPUs).
• Understanding of SoC architecture and high-speed interconnects.
• Experience working with multi-core systems and performance tuning.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related field.

To be successful in this role, you should possess

• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering leadership to devise and build the

right solution.

• Participate in Design discussions and brainstorming sessions to select, integrate, and maintain Big

Data tools and frameworks required to solve Big Data problems at scale.

• Design and implement systems to cleanse, process, and analyze large data sets using distributed

processing tools like Akka and Spark.

• Understanding and critically reviewing existing data pipelines, and coming up with ideas in

collaboration with Technical Leaders and Architects to improve upon current bottlenecks

• Take initiatives, and show the drive to pick up new stuff proactively, and work as a Senior

Individual contributor on the multiple products and features we have.

• 3+ years of experience in developing highly scalable Big Data pipelines.

• In-depth understanding of the Big Data ecosystem including processing frameworks like Spark,

Akka, Storm, and Hadoop, and the file types they deal with.

• Experience with ETL and Data pipeline tools like Apache NiFi, Airflow etc.

• Excellent coding skills in Java or Scala, including the understanding to apply appropriate Design

Patterns when required.

• Experience with Git and build tools like Gradle/Maven/SBT.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, profiling, and

optimization.

• Have elegant, readable, maintainable and extensible code style.

You are someone who would easily be able to

• Work closely with the US and India engineering teams to help build the Java/Scala based data

pipelines

• Lead the India engineering team in technical excellence and ownership of critical modules; own

the development of new modules and features

• Troubleshoot live production server issues.

• Handle client coordination and be able to work as a part of a team, be able to contribute

independently and drive the team to exceptional contributions with minimal team supervision

• Follow Agile methodology, JIRA for work planning, issue management/tracking

• Should be able to work independently with India & US based team members.

• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to articulate problems and solutions over phone and emails.

• Strong sense of urgency, with a passion for accuracy and timeliness.

What does this role hold for you…??

● Converting prospects into customers by show-casing appropriate primary residential properties to the prospects, matching the investment need of the prospects

● Using leads generated by the Marketing team as well as generating self-leads to convert them into customers, through local activities (procuring relevant databases, doing on- ground activities in corporates, clubs etc.)

● Taking prospects for site visits, answering all relevant queries in the process, liaising with Developer or with PropTiger’s Developer Relations Team for any clarification, if needed

● Ensuring compliance with the operations process

● Ensuring that prospects and customers are satisfied with their interaction with PropTiger at all touchpoints. ● Providing after sales services and assisting in Home Loans for the customers
