Job Summary:

Detail-oriented Java Application Support Engineer with experience in production support, UAT validation, release analysis, and RCA. Skilled in troubleshooting, log analysis, and providing L2 support for Java-based applications. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability, smooth releases, and SLA adherence in fast-paced environments. Flexible to work in late evening shifts.

Work Distribution:

• Production Support (40%): L2 Support, Incident Management, Ticket Resolution.
• RCA (10%): Problem Management, Root Cause Analysis.
• Release Analysis (10%): Scope and Impact Analysis
• Release & UAT Validation (40%): Test Case Preparation, Execution, and Validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Production Support for Java-based applications (SaaS/Cloud), ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Assist in debugging issues, analyzing application logs, and performing initial root-cause investigations.
• Work with Business and QA Teams to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including preparation, execution and validation of test cases.
• Document issues, resolutions, and system behaviors using standard templates and tools.
• Collaborate with Customer Support, Development/QA Teams, and stakeholders for issue escalation & resolution and improvements.
• Monitor application health, respond to incidents, and ensure timely communication of status updates.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, compliance requirements, and best practices for Application Support, Application Releases & UAT.
• Follow established processes for incident management, change management, and release cycles.

Skills required:

• Knowledge of Java, Linux/Unix, Oracle-SQL, MSSQL
• Basic to intermediate experience in Java Application Support or troubleshooting Java-based systems.
• Good understanding of log debugging, error analysis, and general debugging procedures and troubleshooting
• Experience with Release Cycles, UAT Testing, writing and executing test cases.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zoho, EasyRedMine, Jira, ServiceNow) and any monitoring tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable interacting with users and team members.
• Understanding of ITIL practices (nice to have).
• Good documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Ready to work in late evening shifts (4 PM to 1AM) 

Project Manager – Team Lead (Appian System Analyst)

About the position:- 
The Manager will be working in Intelligent Automation domain in a techno functional role and develop proprietary solutions on Appian BPM, IBM BPM, Java and RPA platforms. This Position will be required to work extensively with Audit business Teams for developing solutions using Appian BPM, Java and RPA platforms. Candidate should be able to work as an individual contributor as well as in leading the team on various technology aspect from programming and development point of view.

Broadly, the key responsibilities are:

- Design, Development, Architecture, Implementation and Support on end to end Business applications with Appian BPM platform.

- Adept to leading technologies preferably in BPM and RPA Domain.

- Collaborating with Business teams for process discussions and working closely with IT team for infrastructure and deployment.

Roles and responsibilities:

The Manager will be predominantly responsible to:

- Extensively involve at all phase of Technical planning & requirements gathering.

- Work with business and technology teams to analyze and assess automation feasibility.

- Manage Projects end-to-end using relevant development framework either SDLC or Agile.

- Lead team of Appian developers and making sure development is moving

- Ensure quality of development by closely working with developers and testing team..

- Work closely with IT technology and infrastructure team.

- Able to support and drive change management of existing processes as per new requirements using a structured change control process.

- Work with project leads on technology platform related issues and provide plausible suggestion for improvements.

- Ensure the work is performed with high quality and completed within agreed turnaround time.

- Strong experience in Developing Web services and exposure to Enterprise application integration.

- Timely raise any issues identified to the Managers so that the quality and turnaround time are not impacted

- Plan and organize the work in such a way that the Quality and efficiency are not impacted on the deliverables

Essential skills:-

Education and Experience Requirements:

- B.E or B. Tech with IT/Computer Science/ related specialization.

- 10+ year of post qualification experience last 5 years need to be on Appian.

- Strong knowledge on BPM and having worked on any other BPM product is definite plus.

- Strong knowledge of Appian BPM and IBM BPM.

- Good knowledge on Software applications, SQL, Python, JAVA/J2EE programming and C++

- Good understanding on BPM Fundamentals, Architecture Components, Technical Features as design feature, configuration in Appian etc.

- Well versed with AGILE and SDLC based development approach.

- Expertise on Process Design documents & Technical Design documents

• Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Demonstrated experience in visual communication design, with at least 2 years of professional experience.
• Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing a diverse range of visual communication work, including packaging design, digital graphics, and print collateral.
• Consumer Brand Experience: Prior experience in designing for consumer brands is advantageous, indicating an ability to connect with target audiences effectively.
• Creativity: A flair for creative thinking and the ability to translate concepts into visually appealing designs.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and a willingness to adapt to emerging design tools.

 Preparation of equipment / system specification, single line diagrams, schematic diagrams, VFD Panels, cable specification.

 Preparation of Plant Cable Tray Layout, Earthing Layout with electrical draftsman.

 Preparing Load List (process & Supply) Based On inputs from mechanical & supply requirements.

 Preparation of Cable and Interconnecting Schedules of Power and Control Cables for WTP, STP,ETP

 Preparation of Instruments Index, IO list ,JB Schedule , SOV Box Schedule , RFQ for PLC System , RFQ of Instruments(PG,PT,MGFT,LS,LG) ,RFQ of Analyzer (silica, PH, Conductivity ,ORP etc).

 Technical evaluation of techno-commercial offers received from vendors for MCC, Motors, Cables, LPBS,VFD, PLC, Instruments , Cable Tray ,GA Drawing ,Scheme drawing , Interconnection details.

 Participation in Inspection and Testing of Electrical Panels/equipment/PLC at Vendor works.

 Participation in Project review meeting internal and external. Addressing/Resolution Technical queries
