About the role:
As a Product Designer at Devtron, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products. You will own the end-to-end design process, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, devise innovative solutions, and deliver products that truly resonate with our customers. You'll be responsible for identifying real user challenges, iterating on design concepts, and ensuring a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for user-centered design, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose design solutions.
- Lead the design process from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Employ an iterative approach to design, adapt, and refine solutions as needed.
- Communicate and present design ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify and address use cases in proposed solutions, optimizing for user needs.
- Develop and prototype user flows and interactions.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure the successful implementation of designs.
- Manage design problems and the end-to-end design process, from rough ideas and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes using tools such as Miro and Figma
- Iterate and test solutions to check if they solve the problem.
- Involve customers in product improvement that provides value to users and growth.
- Thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and self-motivation.
- You're constantly looking to hone your design instinct through user feedback, user research, contextual interviews, and analogous research.
What You'll Need:
- Proven record of shipped features/products with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, or Designing for Digital Experiences.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma is a must.
- Prior experience working on web-based applications is essential.
Portfolio Requirement:
- Please provide a portfolio that showcases 2-3 of your best projects. Each project should include details on your role, how you approached the problem, any challenges faced, and the outcomes.
● Lead design projects across the product portfolio and multiple product
launches. Set the vision for the user experience and manage collaboration
with stakeholders.
● Work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to find elegant but
practical solutions to design challenges.
● Understand business requirements and effectively explain how design
solutions align with strategy.
● Represent the UX team, facilitate design discussions, and give feedback in
planning and product channels.
● Work with the organization to inform and improve design processes.
● Grow the design system, and ensure all features align with it.
● Collaborate with UX Research to evaluate the effectiveness of designs
through reviews, walkthroughs, usability tests, and other techniques.
● Comprehensive understanding of applying user-centered design
methodologies and research to solve complex business problems.
● 5+ years of experience designing engaging products and user experiences in
a dynamic, fast-paced software development context.
● Knowledge of Sketch, Photoshop or other tools for producing and testing
designs.
● Ability to work in a collaborative design environment; to be critiqued and to
critique.
● Superior listening, communication, and critical thinking skills

What will you do :
- Design creative visual interfaces those are user-friendly as well as aesthetically appealing to the customers.
- Deliver all project phases from concept and design to production (evaluations, task flows, scenarios, wireframes, low-fidelity/high fidelity prototypes, and design guidelines)
- Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product managers, developers, and designers.
- Develop and maintain effective specifications and design patterns.
- Measure the results of the product, identify key learnings and integrate them in overall user, product and feature understanding
Key skills :
- A sturdy portfolio demonstrating past work and relevant, user-centered design solutions
- Ability to quickly turn around rigorous wireframes and mockups in an iterative environment
- The ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task in an agile environment
- A clean sense of design aesthetics, and a natural propensity towards simplification over complication
- An aptitude and honed intuition for tasteful, visual design details
- Ability and passion to design for the business user and yet keep the human interaction approach
- A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
- Experience working on different devices user experience
Required qualification :
- A bachelor's degree in design/Human Factors/ HCI/ Cognitive Science/ Psychology
- You possess knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision).
- You have up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, XD, Axure, InVision, Balsamiq, Framer, and the like is a must.
- Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus
- E-commerce design experience in a global context
- A graphic design qualification or similar.
- Portfolio with design projects.
- Proven work experience as a graphic designer.
- Working experience with image design tools (e.g. Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, corel draw).
- A keen eye for visual details.
- Aesthetic skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with team members.
1.Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
2.Good Exposure to CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation, or Tailwind CSS.
3.Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS or LESS.
4.Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
5.Good understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
6.Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and Responsive web design.
