Role & Responsibilities

We're seeking an exceptional design leader to manage and guide a team of talented multidisciplinary designers in one of the fastest growing tech startups of the nation to drive it towards becoming the best design team in the industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage the team and the work-

Own a team of multi-disciplinary designers consisting of product designers, visual designers, visual communication designers and researchers.

Along with the design leads, manage various design projects and their priorities.

Help the team in resolving blockers. Ensure the output meets business goals,

deadlines and the quality bar.

Shape up product direction and drive design-led projects-

Take part in ideation, planning and prioritization of our diverse range of products & features keeping the short and long-term goals of the organization in mind.

Find out new directions that we can take in our quest to make payments and finance easy and accessible to all.

Strategise, prioritize and drive design-led projects. Also, help to extend the existing design systems and build new ones.

Mentor, Guide and Lead the Team-

You will be responsible for the growth of the team. Help them grow their soft and hard skills. Help them define their career paths, identify opportunities and level up to do the best work of their lives.

Raise the Bar-

● You will set the bar high. You know what quality looks like and how to help product teams ship at that quality with minimal impact on velocity.

Drive and improve the design process-

Iterate upon and improve the design processes to introduce the best practices within the team. Bring in users to the center of the process and encourage design decisions to be backed by user-behavior and data.

Create frameworks and guidelines for the team to deliver better and faster.

Conduct design reviews and status meetings. Facilitate design sprints, workshops, brainstorming sessions.

Prioritize research and design improvement opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

We're Hiring: Assistant Manager - Sales (Building Automation Solutions)

Location: Chennai

Experience: 8+ years

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive sales & marketing for Building Automation Solutions (BAS)

- Build & maintain client relationships, conduct demos & presentations

- Provide technical support (BAS & ELV systems)

- Market research & competitor analysis

Qualifications:

- BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation/Electronics/Automation

- Proven sales experience in BAS / ELV / Project Sales

- Strong knowledge of HVAC & BAS systems

• Experience in Spring Boot, Jenkins, Git, Hibernate, Kubernetes, and Docker
•  Experience in the development of scalable and extensible systems using Java
•  Proficiency in Database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
• Routines Sync & Async
• Solid and fluent understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Excellent software design, problem-solving and debugging skills
• Demonstrated high ownership in previous projects
• Excellent Communication Skills"

The role requires you to:

• Answer client queries related to use of Superset software product, on email channel, and largely phone channel
• To understand queries, resolve them by providing ways to achieve use cases using Superset tool
• Ensure customer success by providing timely resolution
• Write documentation and FAQs

Job Description –

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in product companies
• Experience in software development and coding in multiple languages

• Experience in both front-end and back-end development with mastery in back-
end.

• Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles
• Managed at least 4-5 engineers in their experience.
• High quality organisational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
