Required - Dealer In-house Trainer

Location: Ahmedabad

Industry- Automotive industry

Must have experience as an Automobile Trainer candidate will have a background in a car dealership

Objectives of the job

To ensure Skill Enhancement of sales and after-sales staff :

a) Managing the dealership’s training requirements, including identification of training needs and nomination to required programs

b) Delivery of training courses and programs as per OEM’s standards.

c) Ensuring that training provided by OEM to the sales and after sales staff supports the aims

and objectives of the dealership via in-house trainings, role plays, tests etc. and provide feedback to OEM for future training requirements

d) Implementing an in-house training system at the dealership

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct training sessions for dealership staff on various aspects of automobile sales, customer service, product knowledge, and dealership operations.
• Develop training materials, modules, and resources tailored to the needs of dealership personnel.
• Collaborate with management to assess training needs and implement strategies to enhance performance.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
• Stay updated with the latest automotive industry trends, technologies, and best practices to incorporate into training sessions.

Job Designation/Field of Work:

1 Operational

 To perform training needs analysis (TNA) for each department and identify the gap vis-à- vis product knowledge, sales process and soft skill

 To provide inputs to OEM training team and take specific module to address the above needs and conduct trainings related to product knowledge, sales process and soft skill wherever and whenever required

 To maintain the central library for training and regularly update the inventory of the same thus reporting it to GM Sales & After Sales

 To identify &; evaluate any external training program (if required) for the employees &; training department with prior approval of GM Sales & After Sales

 Evaluation and Assessment of Trainings conducted

In-house Training:

 Conduct Foundation Training on Brand through E-Training for all new sales staff

 Conduct Internal Orientation training for Sales and After sales staff

 Conduct Basic Auto Technology Module and Test as per OEM guidelines

 Ensure implementation of On Job Training through Training Log Books

 Conduct Product and Sales Process Training with role plays at dealerships

 Train the team on product launch updates and competition comparison

 On the job training and shadowing for Sales staff to improve conversion and productivity

 To design, conduct & monitor timely evaluations after the training has been imparted

Liaison with OEM

 Coordination with OEM Team on Training Needs

 To get updated information on Products and Processes in terms of Training Content from OEM’s Sales Training and After-sales Training team

Training MIS

 Timely reporting of monthly MIS of Dealer sales staff

 Manpower Required-Onboard-Trained status

 Month-wise Training Report

 To maintain records of each training program done and the evaluations completed in a separate file

Soft Skills Trainer — Key Responsibilities

• Assess training needs and identify areas for development.
• Design and develop interactive training materials (presentations, handouts, self-assessments).
• Deliver engaging workshops and training sessions (in-person or virtual).
• Provide one-on-one coaching and constructive feedback.
• Track trainee progress and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align training with organizational goals.
• Stay current with industry trends and adapt training accordingly.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in fields like Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in training delivery or facilitation.
• Strong communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills—empathy, active listening, and motivational coaching.
• Organizational strength: adept at planning, time management, and performance tracking.
• Familiarity with instructional design or training methodologies is a plus.
• Tech-savviness, including comfort with presentation tools and learning platforms.

● 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales, corporate relations, or career services roles, preferably in the education sector.

● Strong understanding of recruitment processes and employer expectations.

● Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

● Proven ability to handle multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment.

● Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM tools.

Designation: Product Trainer

Experience: 2+ years as Trainer with any Product Based Company

Job Description

• Develop dynamic, customized, experiential e-learning courses and multimedia using a variety of technology tools.

• Work closely with (SMEs) throughout the project phases to ensure content accuracy and alignment with learning objectives.

• Effectively break down information into smaller, organized pieces for users, and learners to understand on their own in asynchronous learning.

• Design, maintain and distribute application training communication pieces to end-users.

• Remove or archive outdated content from a central repository.

• Deliver Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions.

• Recommend proven learning strategies to address business challenges.

• Responsible for developing and creating learning material in Articulate, DAP, and video software tools.

• With direction, convert ILT to online Articulate and video courses.

• Create new online courses using Articulate and other software.

• Develop outlines, write video scripts, and create graphics for application training.

• Knowledgeable in learning design principles and creating engaging content to illustrate basic to complex concepts and processes for adult learners.

• Highly organized self-starter, with the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines with flexibility.

• Assist the eLearning Manager with special projects, as needed.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience working in instructional design, learning and development, or an eLearning role and good experience in designing eLearning content for the Healthcare, Medtech or FinTech industry preferred.

• Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems and eLearning tools such as Articulate Rise and Vyond.

• Working knowledge of digital adoption platforms and graphic design and related tools.

• Develop curriculum, assessment techniques, and instructional delivery material- curriculum guides, lesson plans, course outlines, etc.
