What does the role entail:

• Design and implement test automation frameworks to ensure that the testing process is efficient, effective, and can be maintained over time.

• Analyse test results to identify areas for improvement in our educational product. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve any issues.

• Collaborate with other teams, such as development, product management, and user experience, to ensure that the testing process is integrated with the overall product development process

• Work to continuously improve the testing process, identifying opportunities to streamline and automate testing tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for software products.

• Write, execute, and maintain automated test cases using a Selenium with Java and commercial automation tool (e.g.TestComplete, UFT, etc.).

• Evaluate and recommend automation tools and technologies and continuously assess their effectiveness.

• Work with stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

• Develop and implement automation standards and processes.

• Write code to automate the testing process, including the creation of test harnesses, stubs, and drivers.

• Collaborate with developers to identify areas for improvement in the development process.

• Understand how all components and interfaces of the product work together.

Must have skills:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5 years of experience in the automation testing field.

• Strong coding and scripting skills in one or more OOPs programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).

• Experience with enterprise commercial automation tools (Codeless tool) like TOSCA, TestComplete, Katalon, UFT etc.

• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java Mandatory.

• Automation experience with CRM/ERP applications like Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts.

• Practical experience in all types of testing including exploratory, functional and non-functional testing such as performance, reliability and security.

• Experience utilizing and testing web services, especially REST services.

• Familiar with build and continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps.

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured functional, system, and regression test plans and test cases.
• Understand the requirements and write automation tests for integration, load, and performance.
• Write and Implement Load and performance tests.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop and troubleshoot automated test scripts to validate the technical and functional integrity of web and mobile-based application components, backend API, and reports.
• Collect, analyze and interpret test metrics. Summarize test data and report findings.
• Responsible for setting up and implementation of test automation strategy from Functional and Non functional perspective for one module or multiple modules who you work with.
• Responsible to find innovative ways to optimize the test strategy for maximising ROI from areas which are undertaken for automation.
• Responsible for addition of new capabilities and features in automation framework which is used by the entire QA team for test automation.
• This is an expert role and demands a complete hands on contribution on Single or multiple projects simultaneously.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to other members of the testing team.
• Designing and implementing performance and load testing to ensure that applications can handle expected loads.
• Developing and executing test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
• Managing and maintaining testing environments and test data.
• Identifying, analyzing, and reporting defects and working with development teams to resolve them.
• Analyzing and improving testing processes to ensure that testing is efficient, effective, and comprehensive.

Job Description

• Work as an Automation Engineer to ensure continuous delivery of the product.
• Create/Update the test environment, code and execute automated test scenarios.
• Execute functional tests and maintain test cases.
• Work with the quality, development and field teams to ensure product quality and usability.
• Monitor and track resolution of defects, and effectively communicate it in daily standup.
• Learn and use open source and cloud technologies as needed

Qualification and Experience Requirements

• Desired experience range is 4 to 8 years
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline.
• Expertise in automation language, tool, and scripts such as Java, Selenium or TestCafe, Postman
• Must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate & report software application issues.
• Preferable but not necessary knowledge of any one of the public Cloud platforms either AWS, Azure or GCP is preferred.
• Preferable but not necessary knowledge and/or experience of a Security product

Job Description:

QA automation is a key component of Kaplan's ability to quickly launch high-quality, innovative education products to our students. As an integral member of a cross-functional Agile team, you will use industry-standard tools and frameworks to conduct functional and performance testing on web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.

In this role you will:

• Develop automated mobile application test scripts that are robust, performant, and maintainable using Appium, Espresso, XCUITest or other tools.
• Ensure that applications and APIs developed by the team are reliable and meet user’s needs
• Work closely with developers, designers, and devops to meet team commitments
• Manage the timeline and status of the software release process
• Work with the Tech Lead to improve software development and quality assurance processes
• Provide the product owner with information they need to prioritize features (e.g., effort estimates, alternatives, technical risk)

You must have:

• Minimum 5 or more years of software testing and quality assurance
• BS/MS in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience
• A Good understanding of the mobile devices, their peripheral devices, networks etc.
• A Good understanding of the Android and iOS designs and its components.
• Hands on experience with emulators, simulators.
• Hands on experience by testing mobile app performances with automation application testing tools.
• Well versed with different types of Performance Testing like : Load Testing, Stress Testing, Volume Testing, Capacity Testing, Reliability Testing. etc

We are currently looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our fast-growing QA team. With our Product Engineering team rapidly iterating and deploying new code, our Test Engineers drive the crucial effort of designing automated test suites that are reliable and maintainable. This team is tasked with ensuring the automated testing of existing code and developing thorough test approaches for new features and products.

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience with testing, test automation and development
