Key Responsibilities:

We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in crafting intuitive, scalable, and delightful digital products. The ideal candidate is confident with tools like Figma, has worked in a fast-paced environment (agency/startup), and is comfortable with both collaboration and ownership.

• Design wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI for SaaS platforms, B2B dashboards, and consumer-facing applications.
• Collaborate closely with senior designers, developers, and PMs (including IIT alumni) to shape end-to-end product journeys.
• Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Create, maintain, and evolve design systems and reusable UI components.
• Work with developers to ensure seamless design handoffs and pixel-perfect implementation.
• Present ideas and design solutions confidently to internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Stay up to date with UI trends, frameworks, and new design tools.

Job Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in UX/UI design, ideally in a design agency or tech product company.
• Proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, prototyping).
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, grid systems, and responsive design.
• Portfolio demonstrating real-world projects and design thinking process.
• Familiarity with tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Overflow — animation skills are a bonus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Architectural layout annotation and preparation

1. Collect and organize architectural layout drawings. Gather CAD files and 2D drawings from available sources such as portfolios and available drawings datasets, categorize them based on the building type and format.
2. Clean and preprocess layout images. Remove title blocks, legends, and non-layout elements. Enhance contrast and remove noise to create clean, training-ready images.
3. Identify and fix layout quality issues. Document and correct problems such as missing walls or unclear boundaries, flag unfixable drawings for exclusion.
4. Label spaces and rooms in each layout. Identify and label all spaces (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, office, etc.) using text annotations. Create metadata files listing space types and approximate areas for each layout.
5. Create binary masks for space types. Generate pixel-level masks for each space type, ensure masks align precisely with layout boundaries and save in organized folder structure.
6. Identify and mask structural elements. Mark and create separate masks for walls (interior, exterior, load-bearing), columns, doors, and windows; document wall types and thicknesses where identifiable.
7. Annotate ambiguous or uncertain spaces where type is unclear from annotations, use geometry and contextual clues (adjacent spaces, fixtures, dimensions) to make informed classifications, flag uncertain cases for review.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.

Knowledge of code versioning tools 

Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.

Candidate with prior Palantir Cloud Foundry OR Clinical Trial Data Model background is preferred

Major accountabilities:

• Responsible for Data Engineering, Foundry Data Pipeline Creation, Foundry Analysis & Reporting, Slate Application development, re-usable code development & management and Integrating Internal or External System with Foundry for data ingestion with high quality.
