We are looking for a passionate Search Specialist Backend Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on improving and optimizing our search capabilities to enhance user experience, scalability, and relevancy.

Designation - Senior Software engineer - Search Specialist

Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain the search application, ensuring performance, and scalability.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement search features and improvements.

● Ensure search results are relevant by employing techniques like ranking, personalization, and recommendation.

● Work on complex problems related to search algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.

● Implement logging, metrics, and monitoring for search services.

● Optimize search by tuning the underlying algorithms, experimenting with new techniques, and leveraging tools like Elasticsearch, Solr, etc.

● Maintain and improve existing search functionalities while ensuring backward compatibility.

● Stay updated with the latest advancements in search technology and industry best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

● Experience with search engines like Elasticsearch, Solr, or similar technologies.

● Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.

● Proficiency in Python and Django.

● Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend services.

● Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with natural language processing (NLP) or machine learning as applied to search.

● Knowledge of various search relevance techniques and ranking algorithms.

● Experience in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). ● Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

● Strong analytical and debugging skills. Personal Attributes:

Domain: Automation Testing – Selenium Job Purpose • Thought leadership - Consult with the client and setup/guides a team to strategize, design, implement and run automation solution supporting variety of applications • Technical leadership - Identify, evaluate, recommend, and optimize current automated testing processes and tools • Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework, and approach across project teams • Oversee technological delivery of the recommended automation solution roadmap across project teams • setting up end to end QA processes across Requirement Analysis,Test Strategy/Design and Test reporting • Participate in design and architectural reviews of proposed automation solutions across project teams • Designing & implementing enterprise wide QA strategy for variety of clients including complex applications across multiple tech stacks (involving both functional and automation testing) • Planning, estimating (should be aware of robust models and how to use them) and tracking team’s work • Status reporting: Track and report upon testing activities, including testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status etc. • Mentors/guides the team on technical knowhow • Adhere to company project standards and guidelines Mandatory Skills & Experience • 10-14 years of overall testing experience and atleast 4+ years of in-depth experience in establishing test automation frameworks, evaluating tools, and implementing continuous testing strategy • Hands on framework development for a Green Field Project • Strong hands on experience in Java/JavaScript programming languages; java collection frameworks • Strong experience on QA Automation tools such as Selenium/Cucumber/Appium/SOAPUIetc. • Strong exposure on UI or API automation, hands on Webservices/Microservices automation • Experience in CI/CD tools, such as Gitlab(preferable) / Jenkins • Experience in Cloud tech preferably AWS • Experience on Cloud Platforms such as Sauce Labs, Perfecto • Functional tools like Selenium (mandate), Webdriver IO, NightWatchJS, etc • Should have basic knowledge of JMeter or any other equivalent Performance testing tool • Sound Knowledge of methodologies and approaches such as Agile, BDD, DevOps etc. • Industry experience on Financial Services is preferred. • Strong hands-on code development experience in JAVA 14+, Restful Service, Spring Boot, JDBC Template.
• Experience in SQL scripting
• Experienced in developing and deploying web applications using Spring MVC and Spring boot.
•  Hands on experience in one of the IDE’s – Eclipse or IntelliJ
• Experience with Tools- Maven, Jenkins
• Experience in entire software development life cycle from analysis, coding, testing, debugging and publishing using GIT
•  AWS Services will be an added advantage
• Experience Kafka, K8s and Containers will be an added advantag.

HRBP

1. Advise managers on organizational policy matters and recommend needed changes.
2. Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of the organization's HR policies and practices.
3. Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee separation.
4. Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning HR-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
5. Administer disciplinary procedures.
6. Plan and conduct new employee orientation and induction programs to foster a positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
7. Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and employee relations.
8. Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
9. Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
10. Administer employee recognition awards.
11. Plan, organize, direct and coordinate the training activities of the organization.
12. Responsible for the successful implementation, monitoring and coordinating of all the activities regarding HR Software.
13. Preparation and maintenance of MIS related to Attrition.
14. Administer performance management systems and recreation programs.

• Calling current and potential customers to try to get them to buy products and services from the company
• Keeping accurate records of customers' purchases, profiles, and other detail
• Taking care of customer accounts by making sure that customers are still happy with the products and services of the company
• Building and keeping good relationships with customers to get them to come back
• Using the sales scripts that the company gives to make sales and deal with customers who say no
• Getting a deep understanding of the products and services customers buy so that they can make good suggestions based on customers' needs and preferences
• Consistently meeting or exceeding daily and monthly goals for call volume and sales

• 2+ Years of proven development experience in developing applications in .net including development for web and desktop applications.

• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))

• The candidate should have strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.

Role and responsibilities: 

• B2B marketing.
• Contacting and approaching corporate clients i.e. HR Managers, administrations, marketing heads etc., of well-known companies in Bangalore. (Resources and data base will be provided, leads will be given daily basis), No cold calling, Not Call centre job.
• Fixing meetings with them, briefing them about our services & products over the meeting and cracking the deal.
• Following up the order placed by them and closing the deal.
• No targets, no deadlines.
• Your team will have 2-3 interns who will be working below you. You have to delegate work to them.

  Reporting to: -Managing Director only.

  Timings: - 

  Monday to Friday 10:30 am to 7:30pm.

  Saturday: 10:30 am to 6:00 pm.

  Salary:15-30k PM  +incentives (Travel and other expenses incurred by the marketing Executive are reimbursed)
