Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Gen AI / Azure Technical Lead & Architect with strong expertise in leading technical teams and designing scalable, cloud-based AI solutions. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in programming, cloud architecture, and GenAI solution development using LLMs, along with proven leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers to deliver complex IT solutions.
- Design, architect, and implement cloud-based AI applications leveraging Azure and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Develop, integrate, and deploy GenAI solutions using LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software solutions.
- Provide technical direction and thought leadership to both the development team and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
- Total Experience: 8–12 years in IT, with at least 2+ years as a Technical Lead or Architect.
- Programming Expertise in one of the following technology areas:
- Python: Experience with FastAPI or Flask, NumPy, and Pandas.
- .NET: Experience with ASP.NET and Web API development.
- Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including but not limited to:
- Azure App Service / Azure Functions
- Azure Storage
- AI Foundry
- Azure OpenAI
- Database Experience: Proficiency in at least one of the following:
- Azure SQL, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience in integration with LLMs and building RAG-based architectures.
- Minimum of 3 months of hands-on experience in developing and deploying GenAI solutions on cloud platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with team members and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer) are a plus.
- Prior experience in leading AI-focused projects or enterprise-scale cloud implementations.
