Expectations from the role –

·        Designing and building the website front-end.

·        Creating the website architecture.

·        Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.

·        Generating WordPress themes and plugins.

·        Conducting website performance tests.

·        Troubleshooting content issues.

·        Monitoring the performance of the live website

·        Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.

·        Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.

·        Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.

·        Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.

·        Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.

THE POSITION

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Preferably have a working experience of 4 Years and more , on production PostgreSQL DBs.
• Experience of working in a production support environment
• Engineering or Equivalent degree
• Passion for open-source technologies is desired

Job Description: Database Engineer

We are looking for a Database Engineer with 4+ years of experience. We are looking for the ability to optimize, troubleshoot, and ensure high availability of the databases.

You will work on:

We help many of our clients make sense of their large investments in data – designing, architecting & building analytics applications. You will interact with our customers/partners to analyze & provide meaningful insights to their large datasets.

What you will do (Responsibilities):

• Analyze large datasets using SQL, file reading, scripting
• Generate billing reports by ingesting data usage reports from customers
• Assist customers’ technical questions and take care of any technical issues
• Document necessary details & continuously improve documentation
• Keep track of data deliveries and follow up with clients. Ensure the data arrives in good order.
• Communicate the progress to both internal and external stakeholders

What you bring (Skills):

• Exceptional communication skills 
• Attention to detail & problem solving attitude
• Knowledge of SFTP servers, Google Cloud, Amazon S3
• Knowledge of SQL (MySQL) and Linux systems
