As a Product Developer at Troopr, you'll be at the forefront of building world class AI products with a particular focus on conversational chatbot solutions.

Typical day in the job:

* Develop, test, and deploy clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

* Create interactive and user-friendly web interfaces using React

* Implement server-side logic, RESTful APIs and database interactions

* Design, maintain, and optimize MongoDB databases

* Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality

* Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes for them

* Optimize code for performance and scalability

* Stay current on relevant industry trends, technologies and best practices

* Collaborate across teams in an agile environment

* Mentor junior developers as needed

Typical profile of person who can do this job well:

* 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on the MERN stack.

* You have excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

* You have exceptionally strong understanding of Javascript fundamentals

• Designing and building responsive and mobile-friendly websites optimised for different devices and browsers
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code using languages such as HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript, PHP, Python,
• Implementing and maintaining website content management systems
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure websites are functioning correctly
• Staying up-to-date with the latest web technologies and industry trends to ensure the website is current and secure
• Creating and managing databases for website functionality
• Ensuring website accessibility and security to protect sensitive data and user information
• Maintaining and updating existing websites
• Testing both new and current website and correcting potential errors that may arise

• Development of features and modules of Great Manager Certification product
• Engagement in new innovations within the core products and various extensions of the core product
• Solving coding-related problems of the junior software developers in the team
• Mentoring and supporting new techies, helping create a team of rockstar developers

Roles and Responsibilities

Excellent team player, ability to work in a global team and follow through on deadlines and Built MVC based Web Application Using JSP/Spring framework and Good knowledge of Application Servers like Tomcat and Web logic.

Good knowledge of database software like MySQL and solid understanding of DB conceptsWeb application development (including GUI design)Knowledge of web server software like - Apache Working knowledge of build and source code control tools like GitExperience with system integration testing and unit testingExcellent time management and multitasking skills Develop and implement new software programs

Objectives for this Role
● Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
● Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
● Assume leadership of new projects from conceptualization to deployment
● Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design
● Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
● Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment
● Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale
● Work primarily in Golang, Java, JavaScript and React
● Engage with inspiring designers and front end engineers, and collaborate with leading back end engineers as we create reliable APIs
● Collaborate across time zones via Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent video conferences


Required Skills and Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
● 1+ years of experience building large-scale software applications
● Understanding of building web applications
● Understanding of designing and integrating RESTful APIs
● Knowledge of Golang/Java, React, and JavaScript
● Excellent debugging and optimization skills
● Interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies to grow
