Role Specification
This position is a full-time role located in Chennai, India.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, iterate, and manage our Android mobile application.
- Able to own and deliver a feature independently.
- Partner closely with our design, product, and engineering teams to produce a feature that flows seamlessly and works intuitively.
- Able to understand the requirements and come up with estimates, write high quality, maintainable and unit-testable code.
- Own important pieces of the product that have high visibility both internally and externally.
6-Month Accomplishments
- Get familiar with Poshmark’s ecosystem and tools
- Contributing to Poshmark’s Android feature development
- Have a good collaboration within the team. Also, with other teams like Product, Design, QA, DevOps
- Should participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and provide valuable inputs to other Team members.
12+ Month Accomplishments
- Drive feature development independently
- Provide ideas/changes to improve Android application code.
- Mentor a fellow developer.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Strong foundation in the fundamentals of programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design optimized for mobile systems.
- 4+ years of relevant SWE experience with experience developing Android apps (Preferably, apps released into the Play Store)
- Experience in Kotlin, Java and using Android Studio.
- Experience in using software design patterns. (MVVM)
- Proficiency in Multi-threading and performance & memory optimization
- Experience in writing unit test cases.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience in using RESTful APIs
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Skills
● Managing a team of interns for lead generation through LinkedIn and job portals
● Expanding into new channels of acquiring creators
● Using an analytical approach to determine which channels are suitable for acquiring
creators in different industries and verticals
● Building an agency network that allows Pepper to on board micro-agencies - agencies
that act as supply partners for complex and high-volume work
● Meeting tactical demands that might arise from business through targeted campaigns
● Bringing more structure into daily reporting of all acquisition efforts being made

Role Duties/Activities
The Technology “Agile Business Analyst” or “Business Analyst” is responsible for ensuring the team works within an Agile delivery method and that their backlog of requirements and analysis feed into Technology Projects and Programmes successfully.
This role will carry out some or all of the following activities:
- Assures delivery through the entire life cycle of the project of user requirements through to live
- Managing the capture, analysis, and documentation of business process (including IT processes)
- Designing solutions or change interventions
- Oversee change management activities which can include diverse tasks such as timeline planning to
- stakeholder engagement
- Manage or collaborate in change interventions such as training and communication
- Tracking and documenting progress and managing status reporting
- Managing implementation of solutions
- Risk identification, risk reporting and devising interventions to mitigating risks
- Budget management and forecasting
- Management of external service providers
- Support Technology teams to manage delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications, etc.
- Work with the Technology team and Product Owner to drive improvements in productivity through backlog management, maturity in the use of Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean), and corresponding management of dependencies
- Oversee the monitoring and reporting of progress, issues, dependencies, risks to the stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to standard controls and drives teams to achieve compliance and framework,
- capability management, Security controls and technology architecture designs

- Audio Codec (TLV320AIC23B)/ LInux /Uboot, Kernel Image / POSIX Environment.
- Knowledge in FPGA synthesis, simulation, and back end flows
- Bringing up Linux environment on ARM
