About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and coach a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and development. Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training opportunities.
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural principles. Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Project Management: Plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Define project scope, manage timelines, allocate resources, and track progress. Proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap for the team and the organization. Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define product requirements and prioritize projects.
• Collaboration & Communication: Foster a collaborative and communicative team environment. Effectively communicate project updates, technical decisions, and team accomplishments to stakeholders.
• Hiring & Onboarding: Participate in the hiring process, including interviewing candidates and making hiring recommendations. Onboard new team members and provide them with the necessary resources and support to succeed.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes and implement best practices. Champion continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Hands-on Contribution (as needed): While primarily a leadership role, a willingness to occasionally contribute hands-on to development tasks (e.g., coding, debugging) is a plus, especially in a growing team.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10-15 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of building and delivering high-quality software products.
• Strong proficiency in Python and API development.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies, particularly ReactJS and Redux.
• Experience with big data technologies, such as PySpark.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applications is highly desirable.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of engineers.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with DevOps practices.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Required Skills:

• 3+ year of experience in Development in JAVA technology and springboot
